We all enjoyed a lovely meal in la cultura del gusto. No one out of the eight of us, all having three courses, had a bad word to say about any of the dishes. In fact my daughter wanted to keep the dish her dinner was served on, the plates are sectioned so none of the food touches!!
The service was very good, friendly, but not too in your face, the menu is varied with all the usual steaks etc and some more unusual dishes like wild boar, venison and monk fish.We all ordered different dishes all were very pleased with our choices.
The snickers ice cream is a particular favourite of mine and although I normally like to try something different each time I visit a restaurant I couldn't resist having it again

read all the good reviews and saved this treat for the last night of our holiday. We were very disappointed the staff were terrible it took half an hour to get our drinks after waiting 15 minutes for anyone to ask what we would like. The food had far too much sauce which made it veryu sickly and my daughter had pasta which was bland and boring .The waiters only seemed to be intersested in their regular customesr ,we felt ignored. The restaurant is advertised as fully air conditioned this was not the case we all felt hot and uncomfortable. Waited ages for any acknowledgement to order another drink then had to wait ages again for it to arrive. Really wished we had not bothered coming here it was a sad last meal. Couldn't wait to get out but you guessed it we had to wait another 30 minutes for the bill. All in all would never visit again.

Stayed in Protaras for 10 days in September. This restaurant is so good we visited four times during our stay. Our friends introduced us to the restaurant a few years ago as they always stay in Pernera and eat here every night. Celebrated my 40th here last year and the owners are a lovely couple who really make you feel welcome. Try the rack of lamb its fantastic and the lava cake is to die for. We have been going to Protaras for the past ten years and have tried many different restaurants but this is the best ever!!!

we visited this restaurant on our holiday for my mums bday. after trailing around looking at boards outside we decided to give it a try as it does look more upmarket than most of the other places in pernera! we were not disappointed!
We could see through a glass screen into the kitchen where the chef was preparing fresh food - i had a pasta dish that was amazing! The other 3 had steaks all of which were fantastic too. Chef wont do 'well done' as it ruins it so my sister changed her mind but was then gutted as they arrived medium and were cooked perfectly with no blood ;)
she did however enjoy the chicken dish she ordered. we had our 16 month old with us who was also well looked after - service great considering how busy it was...soooo many people were turned away - make sure you book, its a treat not to be missed! and no more than a nice restaurant costs here in england.
i have to add - on booking i asked for a bday cake to be brought out once we'd finished (i actually meant an individual dessert) however a HUGE tiramisu came out with the waiter singing happy bday - sparklers and all! it was delicious and they gave it us free! Definately heading back here on our next cyprus holiday :)

Our 2nd visit to this restaurant, a year apart and the food was excellent yet again! More of a special occasion restaurant, but hey, you're on holiday, so enjoy it!

Spicy Prawn starter is outstanding, try it!!!
