We've been going to pieros for years. It's so nice. Salads are so fresh. Souvlaki and souvla is amazing. If you lucky to grab a piece of Kleftico, it's amazing. The restaurant gets really busy so try go early or book. Pieros himself
Is there all the time checking the meat and sometimes helps to take orders. In the summer they serve the grapes hanging overhead. So special! I really love going to pieros.

As a local Ι have been to Pieros a number of times over the years. It is one of the few restaurants that are open over the winter months as well. It is consistent on good and fresh food - the souvla and kleftiko are favourites as well as the mousaka. It is also consistently expensive without reason! (As a mention the children's menu has nuggets with chips at €9!). The service is well intentioned and friendly but there is a lack of overall organization that may leave you waiting for menus or water and get you frustrated. Overall I would recommend this place since the food is good, but don't feel like a sucker if you paid too much - you have been warned!

First visited here in 2011 and it is still as good as ever.
The food and staff are fantastic and I hightly recomend the mezze - the village (greek) salad was the best we had. You can't go wrong with the village wine either.
I love the fact that the locals eat in this restaurant so if you want to eat in a traditional taverna with great traditional food then you must pay this place a visit.

A couple of years since I was last here however thankfully time hasn't changed what is an excellent traditional Cypriot eating out experience. Becky and I had the meat Meze for two Yve had the Kleftiko and Charlotte had the Chicken Kebab. The meat Meze just kept on coming and coming each course being as good as the first. the Kleftiko and chicken kebab was again excellent.

Yes the price was higher than an in town Tavern however this was totally in line with the quality and quantity of food provided.

The outside eating under the vines just added to the experience added to this was the quiet location being out of Town you weren't intruded by excess traffic and pedestrians.

A lovely little Tavern on the way into the centre of Protaras, cost us 1 euro on the 101 bus from just outside the Grecian Park Hotel, or 9 euros by taxi, one way (bus back is the 102).
Very nice staff, good selection on the menu, good value too.
Had an outside verranda with grape vines entwined throughout, or indoor eating if you required.
Food was delicious.
