“Disappointing”
Reviewed 20 September 2013

Visited Pieros during our 2 week stay in June as we had read great reviews and it does look like an authentic Cypriot Taverna. First of all in every other restaurant in Cyprus I've been to in the 20 odd years I've holidayed there it is the custom to serve bread with every meal and it is not charged for separately, we were not even offered any. The service was indifferent and really it felt like they were doing us a favour! The main course was nothing to get excited about either in fact rather bland. It is also very expensive. Will not go again.

“Deeply disappointing”
Reviewed 4 September 2013

Located on the main road between Agia Napa and Protaras this tavern looks inviting but, maybe, my party visited on an off day. The vines above tne tables are beautiful. The food isn't. Indifferent service. Poor quality meat - if I wanted a plate of gristle and bone I would order a plate of gristle and bone. Absolutely charmless and outrageously expensive.

“What a rip off and how rude!”
Reviewed 16 August 2013

This is a quite popular tavern but it’s an absolute rip off! Be expected to pay there double prices than anywhere else! The owner is very rude as well. When we went there we asked what the meze included and the waiter mentioned so many things. We didn’t even get half of those because they told us that they have run out. When we pointed out that they shouldn’t accept orders if there isn’t enough food the waiter called the owner. So Mr Pieros himself came to our table and in an arrogant way he pointed out that the atmosphere of his restaurant is like being in paradise and he wouldn’t let any of his customers hungry and if we liked, he would order a whole casserole of bulgar (like rice with tomato juice) to be made for us!!! Nothing more to be said about this place!
