“Had a great time.”
Reviewed 17 August 2014

Stayed first two weeks in July 2014 all inclusive, have just re-booked same for 2015.
We had a great time, daughter (age 9) had plenty to do, either beach, pool or waterpark when she wasn't at kids club!
Nice enough rooms, clean, very spacious with fantastic views. Pool and pool area were nice and clean with plenty of sunbeds although we noticed towards the end of the second week when English holidays started, selfish people started leaving towels on sunbeds when they weren't even there for 3 or 4 hours at a time making it more difficult to find a free one!
The staff from maintenance, bar staff, restaurant staff and receptionists were all friendly and extremely helpful going above and beyond in some cases. I am a very picky eater but always managed to find something I liked, restaurant staff were super-efficient and really made an effort to make you feel welcome each day as did the bar staff.
Great place to stay if you want a quiet time, ideal for families but not for people who like hitting the clubs.
A lovely 15min walk along the seafront path to Protaris which is much busier and noisier with a much bigger choice of bars, resturants and shops.

Room Tip: Higher floors for the best sea-views. We were in 'd' block on top (3rd) floor.

A 4 star hotel, I think not. I have stayed in 2 star hotels in Benidorm which would leave this standing. I should have realised from the start when we were shown to our room which was some distance away from the hotel and up 7 small flights of exterior stairs. The hotel room(ha,ha,ha) was worse than an english caravan park chalet. There were ceiling tiles missing from the ceiling as you walked through the front door. The balcony doors blackout blind had that many holes and rips in it that it did not stop any light. The cupboard underneath the sink unit was deplorable. The room was generally dirty throughout the fortnight, the bedding often with holes in the sheets and the towels (when changed ) were a very poisoned white.
As for the food the quality was very poor, the presentation was disgraceful and the choice non existant. I had my 7 year old grandson with me and if he didn't like chicken nuggets and chips there was no other option for lunch or dinner.
As for this being an all inclusive package this was a laugh. I went to the bar for a 'slush' for my grandson and had to pay for it. Yes there was a T.V. in your bedroom but you had to leave a 10 euro deposit to get the remote. Your beach towels also had to have a 10 euro deposit.
I have been holidaying abroad with my family for over 40 years and can honestly say this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I did not hear one positive comment from any other holiday makers residing there, in fact when I went to see the Rep for some information he asked me if I wanted a complaints form as well. I replied I did not because I could see how futile it was for the other residents as nothing was being done.

Room Tip: Our room was next to the back road which accepted every delivery into the hotel from bread, watermel...

Great family holiday. Rooms are clean, some are dated bit still clean. We moved from e block as the balcony we had was so small, we couldn't stand on it. Moved into b block. Very much more modern, however, closer to the hub of it all, so was noisy at night. Food good, but after 2 weeks it can be repetitive. Pool area really spacious and clean. Despite the hotel being full, the pool was never overcrowded. Bar staff were excellent, can't fault them at all. The reception staff and manager might want to take a lesson from them!
Only had one day when all supplies at breakfast ran out, wasn't really happy with how it was resolved or how long it took.
I would suggest you avoid taking a packed breakfast if you go out on an early trip. They don't supply any drinks (which isn't acceptable if you're on an all inclusive package) and everything is so dry.
The location was superb, stones throw from the beach and a pleasant walk along the coastline into the town centre.

Room Tip: E block dated but I found quieter. B block ideal if you will be up til the early hours and one of th...

Marlita Beach was a nice hotel, we enjoyed our stay here, it's right on the beach so has lovely sea views, it is in a beautiful location, not central but close enough to everything you need, Pernera is a 5-7 minute walk away and Protaras is a 15-20 mins picturesque walk along a boardwalk.
The apartments here are ok, nothing amazing but have all you need, the entertainment is......well quite frankly, rubbish! (Sorry entertainment guys but I'm sure you can do better) drinks are expensive, so unless you're all inclusive go elsewhere, Alati by the sea (2 mins away) have happy hour 3pm-7pm all cocktails €3 and there are other bars around but for a good night go to Protaras rather than Panera, unless you want quiet and low key, in which case go to the latter.
Lovely pool at Marlita and lots of sunbeds, staff not overly friendly but not rude.
I'd probably stay again at a good price.

Recently stayed at this hotel for a week self catering and found the standard of rooms disappointing. Our block B hasn't been refurbished but is better than E block where we refused to stay. Can't have been done up since it was built and the bathrooms are dire. Maids are excellent and reception staff helpful but don't judge this hotel by brochure pics. I've stayed in better 18-30's hotels.
The pool area however is great for kids and the location, 45 mins walk along seafront from protaras strip, is great as it was lively but not too raucous. Highly recommend Blue Spice Pizzeria and Alati restaurant over the road.
