“lovely polite staff,and very clean.”
Reviewed 25 May 2014

we had a few problems the first 5days, we were near to the back of the hotel, loud music from the bar,and banging in the morning with the dilivery of goods to the hotel, however within 5 days the lovely savvoulla (front office manager) gave us a lovely room near to the beach fromt with side view.....fridge, tea, coffee, kettle in room, huge double bed.....It rained the first 4 days, so we sat in the lobby bar chatting with some lovely guests....however a wedding that should have taken place in the sunshine by the pool had to also take place in the lobby bar, i felt a little sorry for the wedding party, however the wedding planner ( miss tut tut) pushed us all almost out of the door and had a bad attitude to other paying guests, she was realy realy rude.....
NOW ALL THE BEST STUFF..........the staff are wonderful, Zsolt, skevy, addrean, llarisa, elbena and many many more, you are all so lovely and very polite, we hope the manager reading this will pass this on to you........never had to line up for food, loved being called sir and madam in the reasturant,The assistant manager gave us a bottle of champagne with dinner, very nice indeed, and thank you...........the hotel is lovely and clean, lovely fresh sheets and towels....the cocktails are great, we went all incusive as we think this works out much cheaper....
If you wish to have a fab massage, about 100 yrs to the left on the sea front is pedro under a gazebo, next to flamenco cafe, WOW he just charges 12euro for back and shoulders, oh so good..i had to keep going back...........We took a trip in the Mr john mini bus to the ghost town of farmagusta, he tells the story of his life when he had to leave his home...we booked this on the main street ,turn right at the top of the hill and you will find a little booking office...........I shall miss all the the people we met, we had a lovely holiday (honeymoon) We are always ready to come home after 2weeks,but i must say we could have stayed longer.....julia and Ivor from liverpool.........x

Date of stay: Saturday 3rd May - Saturday 10th May

We were fortunate enough to have won 7 nights bed & breakfast accommodation free of charge courtesy to a competition being run by the Cyprus Tourism Organization.

Due to the poor flight times from the UK, we arrived at the hotel at almost midnight, as there were only another couple of people that arrived at the same time as us the check-in was rather quick and efficient.
We were given a side sea-view room on the 2nd floor (room 209), which had twin beds with mattress toppers on which made them very comfy.
The room which was very clean also had a mini-fridge and a digital safe (both free of charge, although the paperwork given at check-in stated there was a charge), there was also a kettle with tea/coffee sachets. Plenty of storage space and a good sized bathroom.
There was loud music playing from the hotel opposite until around 2am (Sunrise Pearl), but this only happened on the 1st night, so maybe this was just a Saturday thing - we did not hear any other noise from any of the other bars.
Rooms were cleaned daily and fresh towels left every time we placed the dirty ones into the bath, although we did not notice the bed linen changed at anytime during our stay.
Not sure if the air conditioning was broken or switched off for the time of year, but the room was a constant 26 degrees no matter what setting we put the air-con on.

Breakfast choice was excellent and very well presented, quality of the food was also excellent. The restaurant was spotless with plenty of seating inside and out. You could tell the waiters had only just started as they were always been told what to do by the Maitre'D.
I can not comment on the lunch and dinners as we were only bed & breakfast, but the menu looked rather appetizing and we heard many people comment on how good the food was.
In between meal times the hotel also lays on snacks for the All Inclusive people down near the pool bar, I must admit we did help ourselves to these on several occasions (as did many of the other half board guests) and the quality of this food was good.

The pool area was spotless with a good selection of comfortable sunloungers and beds, the area was constantly been cleaned. There were also many more loungers towards the beach and around the far side of the pool bar.
On our final day there the hotel was taking delivery of new outdoor furniture (outside restaurant chairs & the wicker sofas near the pool bar) so the majority of the furniture will be brand new (although we could see no fault with what was already there)

The hotel is in a good location, right on the beach and if you like walking there is a pathway in front of the hotel that goes the full length of the resort and is very well lit at night.
If you walk to the top of the road from the hotel, and turn left then that is where the main strip of bars start.
Restaurants near the hotel were reasonably priced, but if you fancy a touch of the UK there is a Pizza Hut just across the road (Eat all you can buffet for 6.95 euro) and McDonalds close by. There is also a Lidl within a 5 minute walk.

To sum it all up: Everywhere within the hotel was spotless, I'm not sure if this was because the hotel had only opened 2 days before we arrived - but if these standards are kept all year then I would not hesitate to return.
This was our first visit to Cyprus, and hopefully will not be our last... thankyou Vrissiana Boutique Beach Hotel & Cyprus Tourism Organization for this excellent prize.

We stayed at the Vrissiana for our sons wedding, the views stunning and the wedding amazing, would recommend this for wedding venue.
The hotel was clean bright and friendly, the beds were the best I've ever slept on as they had memory toppers on them, we did get a little noise from the hotels bliss bar, but were luckier than most as we had double patio doors on the room, however others in the wedding party were not as fortunate having only single glazed and on one night very noisy but the following night following a complaint by one of the family it was a little better.
Food very good in restaurant and the poolside bar, also on the wedding day it was all amazing.
The pool great and always got sun beds no towels out early so that's a bonus.
The Bars and shops on the strip lively and entertaining, plenty of beach activities and the beach itself great.

Not enough clean rooms. Poor breakfast. Doesnt make sense to me that you need to search in a cyprus hotel for crew to speak greek. No one could understand what i wanted in english and no one could understand greek. No towels for the pool.

We have now been to this hotel three times and always had a very enjoyable holiday.

This time we needed medical help as my wife suffered a foot injury and the hotel staff could not have been better. They were most helpful and caring even though the injury had not occurred on their premises and we feel we can thoroughly recommend this establishment.

Room Tip: Sea view is best.

We stayed here as our friends were getting married in Protaras. The hotel itself is beautiful and the public areas and pool stunning. It is situated just off the main strip so close to all the bars and restaurant. The room was very spacious, it needed a bit of maintenance as the wallpaper was starting to peel a little. It was very clean and the maids came in every day. Our only gripe was that the room was noisy as we could hear the loud music from the strip. Our room was situated at the end of the hotel nearest the town, and on our first night, we arrived late and just wanted to go to sleep, we couldn't (and I can normally sleep on a clothes line without any trouble!). We went down to Reception and complained. The duty receptionist couldn't do anything, but he was very sympathetic and made us as comfortable as he could (a credit to the hotel). The next morning we spoke to the manageress who had been informed of our situation and showed us a room nearer the other end of the hotel. This was much better and although still a little noisy, we could sleep.
We were half board and thought the food was good. Both breakfast and evening meal was plentiful, lots of variety and tasty. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
Location of the hotel is great, overlooking the beach and a few steps away from the bars.
If you can get a room towards the beach/pool end, then I would recommend this hotel.
