My wife and I have recently returned from a two week all inclusive holiday at this hotel. We have stayed here on several previous occasions, all before the hotel went all inclusive and focussed on the Russian market.
Our bedroom, the public areas and the gardens were all in good condition and the staff were most friendly and helpful. The problem was the food and drink. We have drunk local wines on all previous holidays and have enjoyed them but on this occasion some of the wine was undrinkable and the local spirits had an oily aftertaste. After a week I approached the manager and asked if I could pay a supplement and upgrade the drinks. Credit to the manager- he agreed the upgrade free of charge. The food was poor quality throughout including neck of pig and frozen vegetables and it deteriorated further during the second week. Some guests appreciated the food judging by their portions but not us. The result was that we ate five evening meals at local restaurants during the second week and incurred a cost of 300 euros despite paying for an all inclusive holiday. Even some staff members commented that food quality was much worse than earlier in the season.
Overall I would not recommend this all inclusive offering to other Europeans.More
