Stayed here for 1 week(that was more then enough) and found hotel very basic but clean, I wasn't expecting much for the price we payed but you have to pay extra for air con and a safe which is in the hotel lobby, didn't feel comfortable leaving my bits there, i'd rather locked it away in my case.
The 1 bedroom apts were spacious, you get the odd ants around but never saw a roach in the room as previously written.

The pool looked a bit grubby so I never used it, I'd rather walk 20 mins in the heat to the lovely beach. You have a lovely view of a church on a hill which is nice to also climb and see the views( i'd recommend to climb at sunset), lovely food restaurants along the main road

I only ate breakfast at the hotel which was a little oily but tasty. Breakfast was spoilt by the miserable cow behind the bar(not the girl with the dark hair she was lovely) who never cracked a smile all week.

The location was fine as your 10 mins walk from protaras strip which suited me fine as wouldn't of coped with the noise of the bars all night, but there is a bus stop which only cost 1 euro to take you down the stip and up to Aiya Napa or Larnaca which is excellent value for money.

Overall it was fine but wouldn't stay here again

Stayed at this hotel with my partner and 2 children aged 3 and 12 in August - cost us £375 each with flight, a complete waste of money. Air con was serperate and had a problem in one of our rooms- although we paid for a weeks work of air con, the unit was not working even though reception were aware and still took payment for air con facility.

Hotel staff un friendly, cockroaches in the bar and dining area, as well as in some apartments.

Hotel reminded me of a YMCA....Basic as anything! Self catering ... with a cooker and no work top, to prepare food or dish out food, fridge and table and chairs. Would not recommend if intending to cook majority of the week.

Swimming pool was just retangular and to be honest after watching kids pointing out cockroaches climbing walls as they swam- I did not go in!

Entertainment was basic - shd finish at midnight but one night went on until after 1am - and especially noisy if ur located above entertainment area.

Only positive thing was Location was great as u are within walking distance of fig tree bay and protaras strip. Would not recommend any families to this hotel if u are expected any kind of quality holiday. I have stayed in Cyprus twice before and only 8 weeks before this trip in another resort - would def not recommend this hotel .....

Just got back from Sweet Memories and overall can't fault the place really.
I give it 4 stars as I found really no problems, in reality it's very much a 2* hotel but if that's what you're expecting you won't be dissapointed with the price, service, cleanliness, location etc. It's entirely unremarkable but as a base to chill by the pool and sleep it does the job perfectly. You can see from my reviews that I travel a lot at different standards of accom so this is an honest review as a reflection of other places i've been.
The staff (bar one new Cypriot girl) were all great, helpful and friendly.
The cleaners were happy and it seemed like a little 'family'. On the cleaning front we stayed a week and had the sheets and towels changed twice. We didn't leave the room until reasonably late morning so perhaps it could have been more but the didn't try to enter the room when we were in there so I suspect not. Was fine though really. Room itself was thoroughly clean. I believe from the ashtray in the room that you can smoke in there but there were no signs of it al all which I always take as a good sign of cleanliness.
The room was spacious enough, the bedroom was on the small side with the beds as two singles but adequate (as we were ground floor we had a balcony off the bedroom as well as living room which was nice) The kitchen area was shabby but well equipt enough, wouldn't fancy cooking a full meal on it, but fine for snacks. The welcome food pack wasn't an issue to us, we took some water and Coke and sent the rest back no probs. The mini market was good value so it was fine.
We had 2 adults in the bedroom and one in the living area, they advertise that you can have up to 4 but I think if it were all adults it would have been cramped. We took air con in the bedroom and fan (for Euro11.50) in the living area which seems ok, didn't fancy paying 2x Euro35. Wish we would have taken the fan at the start of the week though as you pay a week even if you take it a few days in.
Safty deposit box was handy and decent value, we were a little concerned being on ground floor but never had an issue. We also left change and bits out when the cleaners came and again, was all there when we got back.

The pool looked pretty small but actually must have been deceptive as we never really had any problem even when there were were 4-5 inflatables in there. Plenty of sunbeds too, in shade or sun.
The food at the bar and the bar prices were great and very reasonable, probably the best value anywhere. We found that the drinks at the bar seemed stronger than those in town too so you are actually getting good measures of quality alcohol rather than the weak cocktails in town at the same price. I will say that the tiny (or softdrink) for 2euros was a bit of a rip off, with ice you litterally get about 3 sips lol. The Monday bbq was ok, plenty of food but gets packed up early so get there in good time, the entertainment was horrendous lol but others seemed to enjoy it. Karaoke was fun. The have internet points, 1 Euro for 15mins.
They state no food or drinks other that that purchased at the bar allowed by the pool. We took bottles of water though and there wasn't a problem, if there was i'd have found it very cheeky in that heat but it was never mentioned to us.
I emailed ahead and asked for quiet rooms and we were placed right at the back of the complex. Very quiet but with a view of the bins which were collected twice in the early hours, not so quiet then, but I guess you can't have it all! The bins would be my only major gripe, shame they didn't just put a little screen up. The view otherwise was a dirt track towards the sea, again, unremarkable but not an issue.

Protaras was good fun, plenty of bars and restaurants and lovely beaches all around 7-15 mins walk. Agree with the previous poster about Yianna Marie - we went twice too. They were all much of a muchness really, we didn't have one bad meal. Zuchinni's which is sort of set back was very nice also.
Bake my day is a must!!!!! Cakes galore - amazing! Barbara who does the 8pm to 8am shift was brilliant :D

Finally, we did mini golf by the apartments, really good value at E3.50 and we spent the full day at the water park. Great rides, plenty of loungers in and out of shade and food reasonable for that kind of thing. Water was E1.10 for a small bottle but Coke was E2.50 so may be pricy for a large family? And watch for sun burn and burnt feet. Those walking about in trainer siocks seemed to have the best idea!

All in all the apartments and area were fine for what we wanted. Plenty of cheesy entertainment, good food, fun bars. More of a family destination than yougsters but a good place to go for a week in the sun

We paid £257pp SC in the busiest week of the year (penultimate week of school hols) booking a month in advance, two weeks later the price doubled. I think for what we paid at the time of year we were happy but (not having kids so not being tied) wouldn't have wanted to pay more and would expect to pay much less out of school hols.
