This hotel met expectations in nearly all areas.
Our sea view room had a front line sea view - not always the case when booking elsewhere. The room was beautifully clean, well maintained and everything worked, including the internet.
All the public areas were also well maintained and very clean. The swimming pools were cool-as most are- but again very clean.
The hotel operate an allocation system for sun loungers which prevents the usually headache of people claiming their own with towels and then not using them. The system worked well and should be adopted in other hotels.
The staff were without exception, friendly, attentive and efficient.
The food was good but a little uninspiring. We have enjoyed a better variety in a couple of other hotels in a similar price range. However Port is full of different eaters so you will never go hunger.
To sum up I would recommend this hotel to friends and family when considering staying in Prot.

Room Tip: Pay the extra for a sea view room. Don't book full board, there are plenty of places around the...

We stayed at the Sunrise Pearl for one week in April. After the long cold winter in the U.K. It was such a treat to stay here. The hotel was one of the best we have stayed in. We had a room with a sea view which I would highly recommend. The room was very clean and spacious and the bed was massive and so comfortable.

The food was delicious with lots of choice.

The staff were extremely friendly, and could not do enough for us. It really was a pleasure to stay here. We can't wait to return.

(Amy and Nic) My boyfriend and I stayed at the Sunrise Pearl at the end of April 2013. We've both traveled a lot and both agreed that this has to be one of, if not the, best hotel we've ever stayed in.

The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. The decor is modern and extremely clean - the place is practically gleaming! The rooms are lovely, very spacious and comfortable. Humongous beds! You really feel like you're in luxury.

The food - breakfast, lunch and dinner was delicious. There was so much choice. The buffet is amazing but make sure you try the fish restaurant, which overlooks the beach. The fish is fresh and so yummy!

The spa is definitely one of the best I've been to. If you're going as a couple, go for the Pearl Cleansing Rasul Ritual. We loved it so much we had it twice. It's good fun for you to do together.

The beach is stunning - gorgeous sand and clear blue water. There's various water sports on offer and not too expensive.

The pools area is lovely and very clean (although the water is a little cold in April), comfortable sun loungers, fresh towels every day and allocated sun beds so no hassle at all.

Above all, we were unbelievably impressed with the staff and their impeccable service. Thanos is brilliant - the attention he gives to his guests to ensure they all really enjoy their experience in the restaurants is outstanding. Eva is absolutely lovely and very attentive in the fish restaurant with good knowledge of the best wines - she made sure we had a lovely evening together. We also loved Michaelis and Constantina at the pool bar! Michaelis makes THE best cocktails - try the Strawberry Mojito. They really are amazing and he's great to chat to - our new favourite person! I don't think I've ever been to a hotel where almost every guest makes a real effort to thank the staff at the end of their holiday. Everyone loved them because they can't do enough for you and clearly enjoy making sure you have a great holiday.

I really can't praise this hotel enough. If you don't stay here, you will regret it!

Room Tip: Go for a sea view room if you can - it's worth it to see the sun rise.

We visited this hotel in April having secured a late deal with Thomson. All of the reviews were amazing so our expectations were high and we were not disappointed.

We are quite well travelled both for pleasure and business and I can honestly say that the standard of service from everyone at the hotel was exceptional. The staff made you feel like you were the only guests.

We were invited to attend a cocktail party with the staff during our stay when they actively encouraged feedback and were very receptive to our suggestions. We also completed the questionnaire before we left and were pleasantly surprised to receive an email from the hotel manager thanking us for our comments.

We would like to specifically mention Glykeria the Head Receptionist who was extremely helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble and also George in the main restaurant who had a smile for us every morning.

I would not hesitate in recommending the hotel, the food and rooms were also to a very high standard and we came away feeling very spoilt.

Room Tip: Higher floors are quieter

We decided to escape our routine and take 3 days off. We flew to Cyprus from Beirut (which is barely a half hour flight) and went to Protaras fro the first time, not really knowing what to expect except for the reviews of the Hotel I had read on Trip Advisor. And I'm so happy I made that choice: Sunrise Pearl is a superb five star hotel, very friendly staff, beautiful transparent waters on the beach, three or four different pools, beautifully clean... it was luxury and five star treatment all around and for a very reasonable price. We went there as a couple, but there were a lot of families (even though it wasn't bothersome at all to have kids around). As for the town itself, there isn't much to do, it's more of a chill town, but you can take the bus to Ayia Napa and be there in 20 minutes or so, if you're looking to party it up. We spent most of our time on the beach, just relaxing which is exactly what we were looking for. I also had an amazing SPA experience, highly recommended.
And if you get the chance, go to Cape Greko: it's about 5-10 minutes by bus, and it's the most beautiful view...
As we left, all the staff kept saying "see you next year!" and I kept thinking "I can't wait!"

Room Tip: I'd go for a sea view room if I can afford it...

We visited this hotel in April 2013 on a half board basis and were very impressed with it from the start. On arriving the desk staff were well organized so it only took a few minutes to check in and get to our room. The room itself was impressive. Spacious, well decorated, spotlessly clean, and we could lie in bed on a morning and watch the sunrise over the sea (and this was a side view room). There was a good variety of food for breakfast and sitting out on the sun terrace looking out to sea while eating was pure bliss. On an evening the choice of food was extensive, of the highest quality and cooked to perfection by the numerous chefs. All of the hotel staff were polite and very friendly from the maids who turned down the bed sheets on a night for you to Thannos and his staff especially Anna. Nothing was too much trouble for any of them, We certainly intend to return sooner rather than later. Our thanks to you all for making it a wonderful holiday.
