Recently stayed in room 311 via imagine villa rentals. Only 3 saucepans so cooking facilities limited despite full sized oven and hob! No information whatsoever in the apartment so trial and error to work out air con etc and hot water. Lovely view of pool and sea from balcony. No reception on site so if you have any problems not easy to solve. Do NOT pay any supplements for bed and breakfast as breakfast does not exist. Aroma Cafe serves toasties, coffees, beers and that's about it. The cafe owner/worker is not very friendly or helpful and spends most of his time on his phone or talking to friends.
Very good restaurants nearby - Hippocampus at the end of the strip near McDonalds a must - very good value for money and delicious food. Olympus restaurant also good. Beach at Fig Tree Bay a 10 minute walk and lovely. Sea is clean, calm and shallow - great for children.
Pool at the apartments is, like most in Cyprus, unheated and freezing but very clean as is the pool area. Abandoned apartment complex adjacent to the Coralli spoils the view.
Opt for accommodation in Block A as most have sea views and better pool area. Block B faces the road and supposedly has mountain views but these are miles away and the pool area not as nice.

Room Tip: Rooms above the cafe are cooler. Block A preferable to Block B as per comments above.

We booked direct with owner via a website Home and Away? Stayed in No8, ground floor, 2 bedroom apartment in August 2013.

Can honestly say this was a pleasure to stay there, picked up by Gary the property manager and keyholder, he told us about resort, what to try and where not to, it was like having a guide and driver all in one!

Apartment is clean, very modern and has everything you need to enjoy your holiday. Beach towels, essential in the food cupboards, even toys for the kids and a beach parasol for days out.

The 2 bedroom apartment is on the ground floor so came with its own garden which is a huge bonus, and very spacious.

We wanted for nothing staying here and the experience was exceptional. All contact with Carla (the owner) was straight forward, and very well organised.

The complex is made up various privately owned apartments, anchored by a café and spa/gym. The café is great, food a little limited, owner a little miserable, but best milkshakes we had on our holidays.

Lots of sun loungers, children friendly with kids pool (small one) and lots of loungers/toys left by other people for the children. Again clean, well set out and great for a swim.

The resort is good for families and meals out, we tried lots of them. Fig Tree Bay beach is close to perfect, quite busy but great for a swim and taking out a jet ski.

Would recommend this resort, apartment and the Coralli Spa to anyone.

We stayed in Block A Room 203, a sea view room (which we paid a little extra for) and we just couldn't get over the stunning view from our balcony. The room was absolutely spotless and it had everything we needed for our stay - even a washing machine so we could freshen up our swimwear and beach towels (which we don't usually do). The aircon in both the bedroom and kitchen/lounge were great. The pool area was lovely with a perfect view of the sea, there is also a cafe serving snacks/light lunches, coffees and alcoholic drinks including beers, wines, spirits & cocktails all at good prices (3/4 euros a drink, under 3 euros for a toastie). We also used the spa for a 60 minute full body massage which was just 30 euros each. The spa itself was lovely.

There is a small cove style beach about a minute walk down from the hotel which is stunning, and great for snorkelling. There are only usually a handful of people there, usually locals.

There is a lidl just 2 minutes drive or 10 minutes walk from the hotel as well as a number of local smaller stores which all had the essentials. If you are anything like me and love to shop when on holiday the shopping on the strip was great - especially for gifts and souvenirs.

The Protaras strip itself was great and just had so much choice for eating out and drinking. There is a fantastic atmosphere with lots of after dinner entertainment going on to suit a range of people. Some of the restaurants we ate out in were fabulous, all with a range of price options. Every night we ate out with 1 or 2 drinks each for less than 40 euros for the two of us.

Restaurants we would highly recommend;
Hippo Campus - Fantastic teriyaki salmon & burgers as well as lots of other choices

The Raj - Many people are against Indian or Chinese when on holiday but its our favourite cuisine so why not!! Classic indian menu (as you would find in the UK) food was excellent, service was great!!

Andama Restaurant (who also own 2 other restaurants, The Corner & Bites) - We went here for lunch one day and went for the Tapas menu which was beautiful. The restaurant owner was also very friendly as were the waiters/waitresses.

Ci-Tower Pi-House (tower house) - This was our favourite of the holiday, I had the seafood linguini which was to die for and my husband had the Cypriote's popular dish Lamb kleftiko which was cooked to perfection. They even gave us a free shot at the end to send us on our way :) The waiters were extremely friendly ad had a laugh with us.

Overall Protaras was beautiful, with fantastic beaches, great shops & restaurants & great nightlife for couples/families and I would 100% recommend going..

Coralli Spa in particular was fabulous and I know for sure that I will be going back to stay there. If you are thinking of staying here I'd highly recommend upgrading to a sea view apartment - I know it can make it a little bit pricey but it really did make our holiday - I will miss not waking up to that beautiful view every morning and cant wait to get back there!!

Room Tip: Block A - Sea View room - Floor 2 and above if possible

We stayed here last year, liked the location and cleanliness of the apartments. Everything is presented nicely and pool up keep is good. Sadly this year, rowdy Brits dominated the pool. Broken glass syndrome- one lot started it and others have joined in. Too loud to relax near the pool or on our balcony. It was only half our stay and there is a great beach/lawn area two roads away with an excellent restaurant for lunches called The Cygne, which we seeked retreat. The coffee bar is a great addition but does fuel the noise with beer. Shame really as in the booklets it does mention respect of others, probably because there is no reception staff. It was great to a point. Has put me off returning next year, time to seek out another beautiful spot with respectful guests. If you are willing to take a gamble its a great location and it has excellent self catering facilities. Cafe owner is very helpful and makes a great Latte:0)

Just got back from a 10 night stay here. The location if your staying in Block A is brilliant, overlooking the sea.It was so nice to stay somewhere that you could get sunbeds and didnt have to go down at a stupidly early time with your towels. The pool area was quiet even around 10am. Its around a 5 - 10 minute walk into town and the beach (which does get rather crowded so to find sunbeds its best to go around 9am). They cost 2.50 euros each. The bar and restaurants in Protaras are lovely, very relaxed and the food quality is very good. I saw from a previous review someone had mentioned that the locals use the pool - Some local people did seem to appear the first weekend we were there, but to be honest this had no impact on us (a resident I spoke with seemed to indicate they were friends with the guy who owned the Cafe)??
The Hotel is very open and does not have any reception - We booked direct with a private apartment owner, so knew exactly which apartment we were staying in and the room and floor number (so we got there and had no issues finding the place).
My overall opinion is it was brilliant and well worth a visit.......If i go back to Cyprus I would definately look to staying at Corralli Spa again!

We stayed here earlier this year and Coralli was almost perfect for us (I'd give it a 4.5 if possible).

Positive points...

Apartment (A202) - Large, modern, clean and had everything you could possibly need. We had an amazing sea/pool view and as we were just above the cafe/bar, we had Wifi in the room.
Aroma Cafe - Modern, stylish, quiet, chilled out atmosphere with a limited choice of food and an excellent choice of drinks. I disagree with previous comments re. the locals arriving who were apparent 'friends' of the bar manager spoiling the place - I got the impression these people own apartments there and were just friendly as they were regulars in the bar. The guy worked hard and was very friendly (if you made the effort to speak with him - sorry I can't remember his name).
Arrival was a piece of cake - we knew they had no reception so got our room number and keysafe code in advance - Top tip - don't ring the number 15 mins before arrival and you won't get charged for aircon (we didn't anyway).
Untouched coves just out front with crystal clear waters
2 min walk to supermarket
5 min walk to first bar (Irresistable Bar - call in for a beer, it's a great family run bar)

Negatives...

Just a little too far from the strip - only a 10 min walk but as we wanted to eat out 3 times a day - The heat did get to us!!
The building opposite is an eyesore.

We visited many excellent restaurants, I'd recommend Molti (2mins down strip on RHS) and Georges bar just over the road. The only problem is you have too many good bars/restaurants to choose from.

We used Johns taxis for the transfers - 95 euros return - who were excellent.

Overall Coralli is an excellent place within an even better resort. I would recommend this place to everyone.

Room Tip: Insist on Block A

Coralli Spa Resort is ideally located in Protaras if you want to avoid the crowded beaches. You can still walk for less than 10 mins to Fig Tree Bay and the rest. But Coralli itself overlooks a quiet little bay which though not sandy has crystal clear waters! The views are uninterrupted and spectacular if you book a sea view appartment. We stayed at a one bedroom flat for 7 nights. The sofa bed was comfy enough to sleep a third person. The flat was well equipped with washing machine, microwave oven, stove, dishwasher, kettle, toaster and a large fridge. The flats are all nicely furnished and new. The Aroma cafe at the swimming pool area offers coffees and snacks and with its discreet music adds a pleasant note to the resort. It closes early at night so as to minimise any nuisance to the tenants. The Spa is reasonably priced too. All in all if you are looking for a quiet stay with easy access to the sea but close to the bustle of Protaras should you wish to indulge, this is the place to book.
