“Nice location, modern hotel”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 November 2013

Stayed one week at the end of October 2013. Rooms were modern, bright and clean with beautiful sea view. It was nice to sit in the balcony and enjoy the sundown. Bed was very good to sleep. Cleaning was good. Breakfast was okey with english breakfast, corn flakes, fruits, yoghurts, breads etc.
There were masseurs at the pool area. I had a massage twice and it was professional! If chinese masseur Janny is available, book her!

My wife and I spent 14 nights half board for the first two weeks of October. On arrival hotel reception smart, clean, modern and spacious.we we're given room 313 which was on the top floor and front sea view as asked for.Room was modern clean and spacious.Bed was huge and the comfiest and the best ever slept in on holiday.Bathroom clean with bath and rainfall shower but best of all was the balcony with full height glass patio doors leading onto a full glass front balcony you could lie in your bed and watch the sunrise if awake early great view.Pool was nice and pool area clean and tidy. sunbed clip was good idea not having to get up early to reserve your bed.Food was nice, hot and was adequate choice found something to eat every night also done themed nights.only problem not very much choice for desert cake or melon, saw chefs take temp on food most nights and don't forget this hotel is only 3star for the moment will be 4 or 5 star soon.hotel location excellent go out front door short walk to main strip with bars and restaurants out the back door pool, lawn then beach.only slight down side beware of hidden extras! Fridge in room 5 euro deposit,25 euro 1 week,30 euro 2 week safe 25 euro 1 week, sunbed clip 5 euro deposit,No free wifi 3 euro 1 hour 5 euro a day 25 euro week.every hotel, bar and restaurant you go into in town dose free wifi for customers! Overall hotel clean, new smart and modern great location and staff friendly and helpful.

Room Tip: Ask or pay for front sea view room well worth it

This new hotel is in the centre of Protaras bay with fabulous views, Our room 204 was spacious very well laid out with plenty of room for everything, and lovely furnishings. and so was the bathroom. All staff were helpful and very friendly. We were half board and enjoyed the food very much with a varied selection well displayed and piping hot. We enjoyed our stay at Vrissaki Beach very much and cant wait to return next year.

We stayed at this amazing hotel for a week mid October. Was very sceptical about going as we have a few more wobbly bits than others lol, but was nothing to worry about at all. From the moment we got there at 1am the staff were helpful, informative and very friendly. A beautiful looking hotel situated a stones throw away from the most amazing beach. The sea was warmer than the pool and on a couple of days was like a warm bath. The pool was ideal to cool off when sitting around in 30 degree temperatures and was very refreshing. My husband and I fell in love with this place. It's a 5 min wall to Protaras which has lots of restaurants, bars etc. was lovely to walk along the seafront after dinner once it had cooled down a bit. The staff make an effort to get to know you, so much they predict your room number by a few days in. We went all inclusive which was ideal for us. Didn't have to budget for food and just had spending money. The clip idea for the sunbeds was perfect. The pool etc was never taken over by the locals, it was the same all week nice and relaxing. Food was good, will improve as time goes on but we always found something that suited us and we were never hungry. This hotel will go up in ratings and we are definitely returning next year! We can't wait! Thank you Vrissaki for an amazing holiday!

My wife and i spent 10 nights half board in september and loved it. We were given room 128 which was side sea facing but excellent all the same, the room itself was very modern, great beds, great mini fridge and lovely bathroom with a brill shower. I have read some reviews some guests slating the food i had no complaints apart from a bigger choice of desserts but its no big deal as i am sure they will sort that out for next year. The room has plenty power points the same type as we have in the UK so no need for adaptors as we had taken some and also were supplied with pool towels which were big and thick and you can change them when you like so no need to pack towels in your case less weight. We spent everyday on the beach which is a stones throw from hotel and excellent and were only charged 5 euros for 2 sunloungers all day. We found the staff very friendly and helpful espceially Panicos who made us laugh with Tommy Cooper impersonations and always took time for a wee chat. Bar prices in hotel not too bad 3 euros a pint spirit and mixer about the same, also heard another floor being added for next year but don,t know for sure. Hope this review has helped if you are thinking of going next year,i know my wife and i will be.

Room Tip: Depends what you prefer we were happy with our side sea room looking on to the GOLDEN STAR HOTEL as...

We were at the hotel for 10 days in early October. The hotel is fantastic, lovely bright, modern room, loved the monsoon shower head and the really comfy bed! Bar and reception areas are lovely, chic white leather and glass. Pool area good with plenty of sun beds, loved the system of reserving them. Perfectly placed for the beach and the shops/restaurants. All the staff were lovely, efficient, polite and cheerful. Marianna was exceptionally friendly and helpful behind the bar, we never saw her without a smile on her face. The only let down was the food, not a great choice for vegetarians and sometimes served lukewarm. However, the all inclusive drinks menu was very extensive and the bar snacks were good. Also lovely ice cream from the pool bar in the afternoon! Would definitely visit again but would prefer b&b.

Room Tip: Ask for front sea view

We have just returned from a weeks stay at the Vrissaki and as previous reviews we were very disappointed with the food and decided to eat out despite being half board. Our bathroom was not cleaned during the week and the toiletries were not replaced in the week and we were only given new towels because we asked. The location of hotel on the beach is excellent albeit rather busy.
