We stayed in the hotel in June/July 2014. The hotel has extraordinary helpful and friendly staff. My friend was after the orthopedic surgery and the manager arranged to change the mattrasse for her to feel more comfortable because the mattrasse was too hard. Food and drinks in the restaurant as well as in the hotel shop were good and not overpriced. The hotel is located in a very quiet area, no restaurants or shops in the walking distance around. The pool and garden is lovely, there are enough sun beds, no special charges. The hotel charges for using the safe deposit, wifi and fridge or minibar. Air condition was ok and the rooms were very clean. There was the only weakness that the guests kept their sun beds over night and hotel did not step into it.

Room Tip: Rooms with the sea view are very nice! There are rooms with connecting doors which we appreciated.

My wife and I stayed at Crystal Springs Beach hotel during a 3 day holiday weekend, and we had a great time. Our room was large, very comfortable and had a balcony with a view of the sea. The complementary fruit and sparkling wine during our arrival was a nice surprise. The room was quiet and the bathroom appeared to have been renovated recently. Overall we were very happy with our room. The breakfast had a large variety of options to choose from. The restaurant manager was always around and making sure that none of the food options were running out. All staff we interacted with (receptionists, waiters) were very friendly and attentive. The hotel has a small bay where you can relax and swim in the sea, a swimming pool and a nice and well taken care of garden. The hotel is very close to Protaras but not in Protaras. For us this was ideal because the hotel is at a quiet area and we could rest well at night. This was our first time at the hotel and we will definitely go back again during our next vacation to Protaras.

Room Tip: We had a room with a balcony on the first floor, and the balcony was big.

First return to the Protaras area for years, usually stay at a 4 star in Limassol, decided to try all inclusive with a view that if it was poor we could always eat or drink out.
Well only ate out once for lunch on a trip to Limassol to see friends as the food provided was well over and above what i expected, theme nights were all included, Mexican.Cypriot etc: all would quality and fresh produce, selections of meat, fish and veg changed daily during the week.
Staff were excellent, polite and courteous at all times and could always service your needs. Cleanliness was great both in the rooms and communal areas, and also around the pool and wonderful gardens.
My only criticism would be that the rooms need refreshing but they were acceptable for our needs, bedding and towels were changed regularly and the room serviced daily.
The biggest shock was the entertainment was very good, duos, magicians, Parrot show.
The animation team were excellent with the barmy Jani doing her aqua zumba, volley ball, kiddies disco and a host of other activities. always something interesting but never intrusive.
Overall a great 10 days, we will return soon, thank you all at Crystal springs

Room Tip: Alll rooms appear to have a sea or side sea view

I perhaps should have made a better judgement before booking this hotel as I have been to Cyprus numerous times before - please read before booking!

Firstly this hotel is NOT in Protaras - it's more Pernera, probably around a 10minute drive to Protaras main strip, if you are familiar with the area please don't make the same mistake I did.

The hotel was nice and clean and the staff were very friendly, there was not much in terms of activities though. They had an 'animation team' the one girl was pretty good and the lad just seemed to hold a volleyball in his hand 24/7!

The view we had from our room (508) was really nice, overlooking the sea but there was no real beach as such - we had to travel to Fig Tree and Konnos. Room was very poor - two single beds pushed together, tv that hardly worked and we had to pay for our fridge!!!

There is no FREE WIFI, no iron in your room either - it's downstairs in a communal room. WIFI is 3e per 3hrs and fridge costs 3e a day. There are lots of hidden charges so feel free to write to me to ask.

Finally - the hotel has been inundated with Russians and Germans, I wish I could say that they didnt fit the stereotype but they did - very rude and obnoxious!

All in all, we would go back to Cyprus but certainly not this hotel.

2/5

Room Tip: Try and get something overlooking the sea otherwise it's a view overlooking industrial land!

This hotel has a grand entrance and nice cliff top views but that's where it ends. We booked for two nights but left after one because it was so uncomfortable . There were twin beds pushed together . The beds were rock hard and offered no comfort whatsoever. The pillows resembled a ryvita in a pillowcase . The shower let out a slow drizzle not enough to have a shower in . The bedroom furniture was cheap white plastic . This is certainly not a four star hotel. We asked the manager to refund the one night which he refused . Not good customer service when we felt we should have been refunded for both nights but thought it only fair we ask for one. The breakfast was inedible ! For some reason most of the hot food had been covered in salt. The juice was squash from a machine. This was an extremely disappointing stay on what should have been a special occasion for us .

The hotel is really nice. It's situated on a cliff overlooking a cove.

The rooms have recently been refurbished, however the bathrooms are still a bit outdated (e.g. shower curtain).

The pool is nice, the sunbeds are located in the garden over looking the sea, however the umbrellas don't give you much shade.

The only problem I found was that the beach isn't all that nice. It's stoney, with lots of rocks in the sea. As it's a cove, the water is a bit murky.

This hotel is fab, from walking through the doors there is a smile on all the staffs faces and always willing to help in anyway they can. There is plenty of grounds for you to sunbathe and sunbeds. The food and all facilities were great. as we were on all inclusive we had no complaints at all. Thank you for making my birthday special we had a lovely four day mini break.

Room Tip: all the pool and sea view room have fantastic views
