Travelled here on 29th September and arrived back yesterday on 6th October. It's an OK hotel where the food is AVERAGE! The Rooms are AVERAGE! and the entertainers/kids clubs are AVERAGE! Its an ok holiday.

Aside from that, WE WILL NEVER BE FLYING WITH THOMAS COOK AGAIN!
We were suppost to depart from Newcastle at 8am. It got to about 10am then we were called to gate. We sat there till 11am then were sent back to departures with some food vouchers. It got to 4pm. We were still there being given more vouchers. We were FINALLY called to gate again at 5:15pm and took off at 6pm landing in Cyprus at 10pm UK Time. Will now be using Thomson or Jet 2 Holidays as Thomas Cook are unreliable! :)

We stayed all inclusive at this hotel from 24th September to 4th October , as previously said , from the exterior the hotel looks quite grand , however on entering the hotel , it's safe to say it is in need of a major facelift , it seems quite dingy and dated inside with alot of dark wood panelling and chintzy furniture . On each floor level there is old carpet which is quite battered looking and not at all practical , and the only way past the first floor is in a lift which is a novelty at first but becomes increasingly annoying as you wait forever !!! Rooms are clean but dated , bathroom was refurbished , quite modern but all the wood and dated furniture in the rest of the room is not in keeping ! Room was cleaned daily , clean towels , toiletries ( shampoo, shower gel) replenished daily , however I used cups and saucers on a few occasions that were not taken and replaced with fresh until the following day when I made it obvious that I wanted fresh by placing dirty plates in a visible area . Pool area was fine , obviously in keeping with the rest , it needs updating , but if you are just there to sunbathe , a sunbed is a sunbed right?!! Most of the food was fresh and varied , deserts were lacking variety and I personally would have preferred the fruit to be in a chiller as it is left on a table and is not refreshing as it is warm . To be fair , the food in general was to a good standard but I got bored of all the rich food at lunchtime and just wanted a ham sandwich!!! To me , staff were fine , I see worse customer service here so that
was no issue to me . Location is great ! Overall we had a great holiday as we were there for a friends wedding , they stayed at the capo bay which was beautiful and we just spent our days there !! The constantinos is an average hotel which is fine , it certainly isn't 5 star and is definately not luxurious !! If you want modern , pay extra and stay at the capo bay !

I am still here currently, on the beach enjoying the sun. I thought I should warn other holiday makers at my earliest connivence. The hotel itself is very pretty and on first impression is stunning. The rooms are average (I have a "sea view") with light fixings all bent on walls and all furniture very dated. Be aware that when booking this hotel, if you would like a sea view, ask for the FRONTAL SEA VIEW as the will give you a side sea view where you just about see the sea. We paid extra for a full sea view and appeared to have been ripped off!!! The food is very nice! In my opinion 5star. Evening meal have not failed to impress, lunch time menu is average with random food selections (we use the snack bar which provide lovely sandwiches made from pitta bread). You will find 90% of the staff extremely rude and disinterested in proving a high quality service. The other 10% would be split between the bar staff in the main lobby and the cleaners who are all smiling and make you feel comfortable. The reception staff are not helpful at all and don't have any concept of security. One of our door cards stopped working so went to get another, to our shock they wouldn't believe me I was in the room I was in and then followed it with - "I have already given a new door card to this number today". This wasn't myself or my partner so someone somewhere had a key to our room. They eventually provided us with a key but still didn't check our identity. Perfect place for burglars and thieves. Thieves can use the carpal entrance to the side whet they store your bags before going home in the unlocked, opened doored ironing room. They really don't care about what happens to your possessions. If you are English then I would avoid as other countries are rewarded for there rudeness (be it without a smile). I would be very cautious regarding the ALL INCLUSIVE deals as not everything is included such things like - milkshake, orange juice, slush puppies, coffee, WATER and many more. The mixed drinks are different every time which fills your stomach and throAt with acid continuously! (I'm guessing on purpose so you don't drink anything). The food is very rich and full of oil and fat so don't come here if you are figure conscious (but the food is lovely). The place appears to be over run with Russians whom have no manners or consideration for others. The outside pool water falls are switched off at 4 (when the sun is still out for a few more hours and the pools are full). There are no evening lights (which has cause for health and safety). You will find other people from other hotels over crowed the pool area as there is no checking. I wouldn't recommend you book this hotel. I never write reviews but iv paid a fortune to come here with my partner and both are fed up of the staff and dis heartened. I read a few reviews before coming here and thought I could cope... I should have listened. Sorry I have gone on but don't make the same mistake! Happy holidays.

Stayed here 1st 2 weeks of september. Booked half board, when we arrived at the hotel (after a 4 and half hour delay courtesy of Thomas Cook) !!! we were given the option of upgrading to all inc if we went next door to the Vrissiana for 1st week and back to Constantinos for the 2nd week. 3 years ago we got the same deal when we booked the Vrissiana, so we were prepared that we might be offered the same deal again. Although there was the inconvenience of packing up again and moving back to the Constantinos after a week we decided it was worth it, as we had full use of all inc facilities at both hotels for the 2 weeks. The Vrissiana was great, lovely modern room with view, good food, etc and to be honest we did nt want to go back to Constantinos ! We found the Constantinos to be in much need of a "face" lift , although the bathrooms and the restaurant have been recently refurbished, the rooms still have old style furniture. The pool area also needs a face lift as the sun beds weren't very clean or comfortable, most of them had "dips." in the centre. The food at lunch and dinner was quite often cold although there was a good variety. I would definitely go back to the Vrissiana, but would nt go back to Constantinos unless a lot of well needed money was spent on it .

Room Tip: Rooms on pool side have a much nicer view view.

Another great holiday at this hotel. Bathrooms have been upgraded and so to has the dining room. Food was very good, but the influx of Russians spoilt things with their greedyness. The entertainment could be improved but all the staff were very good and met up with some of the original staff.

Room Tip: Try to get a room close to the beach or pool to get away from the nightlife music etc.

We stayed here for 1 week and although I loved Cyprus and the location of the hotel that's where it ends! This hotel is definitely not 5* and feel Thomas cook should be ashamed of false advertising!we stayed here with our 4 kids aged between 8 and 1 and were promised a family friendly hotel which it is not!!! We arrived at 11pm after a day of travelling to find that the conjoining rooms we had booked were non existent according to reception staff there was nothing to eat even though it was stated that sandwiches and fruit would be made avaiable we had to go to mcdonalds even though we had paid all inclusive! Thecot that we had requested was " unavailable" as they were all being used and I was told " it is too late you will need to come back in morning" well where is she meant to sleep tonight?? The cot eventually arrived outside room at 12.30am after alot of Tuts and head shaking!not a good start to the holiday!tThe entertainment staff were friendly but there wasNO entertainment at all day or night! The pool area was dirty and in need of some serious maintenance, with broken sunloungers parasols and the snack hut decking was uneven and dangerous!inside the hotel was dark with very little or no air-conditioning, only 1 bar with no outside seating and no bar on lower floor where entertainment was meant to be.the food was more 3* and there was no kids selection as promised.the rooms also needed updating they were small with tatty fixtures and fittingsmany had ripped wallpaper and
Cracked baths/ sinks and we had ants infesting our and because of hotel fully booked all that was done was ant spray left in room!! Horrendous! Would not recommend this hotel to anyone!

Just got back from Protaras. Had a wonderful time. The hotel was good except for the food. There was not a lot of choice and it was usually cold. We did have a couple of nights where the food great, out of a fortnight. We went out for entertainment every night as the drinks in the hotel bar are expensive. 3 euros for 1/2 pint of Keo lager. In the bars on the strip the same drink is between 1.70 and 2.50 for a pint. The staff were friendly and the rooms very comfortable and clean. Our room was on the 3rd floor just above the entrance. The music from the 2 bars close by went on until 2.30am. After 2 nights of trying to sleep we spent the rest of the holiday out until 3.am. Would not stay at this hotel again.
