Malama Beach Holiday Village

We stayed in this hotel 2 families for 9 days.
The rooms are big and comfortable ( its not a luxury room ), and well maintained and well cleaned.
It has fully equipped kitchen, and one TV in the living room.
The beds are very comfortable. There is no shampoo or soap in the rooms.
The room has a safe which you have to pay 6 euro for a week. The WIFI is not free 20 euros per week. The WIFI is very weak and slow , this is something to improve.
other then that there is a great beach, we spent there most of our days. the sun beds in the beach are owned by the municipality and cost 2.5 euro a day.
The stuff is great, and ready to help, breakfast is sufficient and there is a supermarket in the village with all you need.
We surly be back again.

Room Tip: If you are seeking for quit ask for garden view room

Excellent Hotel just if they correct some details it would be better. The mistake is that you pay for WI FI, and there is not shampoo or soap for the bath. Nice Breakfast and the staff was polite. The pools are very good and the beach also. The lifeguard was not near around. The room was excellent for the children but the air conditions although are perfect if you open one the same temperature is also to the other one.

Room Tip: Rooms near the pool are near the beach

We stayed here earlier this year in May. Great family holiday at Malama.
Everything at the hotel was just perfect.
The staff go out of their way to make your holiday enjoyable.
This year the entertainment staff were the best ever. Great activities for the kids and adults...if you wanted to join in.
Food as ever is excellent.
Thanks to Alexia who has an amazing relationship with her guests. She is a real asset to the team

Just came back from Malama and are thinking of planning for next year
We could not really find anything negetive about our holiday
The food from breakfast till evening meal always had a great choice to chose
All the staff from restaurant bar and entertainment always had a smile and was always there to help
If we come back next year it would be nice if all the same staff was still there
So make them a offer they can't refuse

Room Tip: Book early to get the best choice

This is a great little hotel and is absolutely brilliant for children. I have recently returned from our first visit there and would definitely go back! I was there with my husband and 2 boys aged 5 and 2.
The rooms are spacious and the air conditioning works really well. The pools are great and the beach (although very small) is down a few steps from the hotel so really close.
All the staff are so friendly and the entertainment team are brilliant. A huge thank you to Miro, Edi and Helly as the boys loved everything you did. A special mention to Miro for being so great with Joe as he loved playing football and waterpolo with you! They clearly enjoy spending time with the children and have so much energy!
The food is lovely always fresh and tasty and Vidos does a great job with the show cooking.
If you are looking for a small, personal, friendly, family hotel I would thoroughly recommend the Malama!
Thank you everyone for a great holiday.

We are just about to enter our second week at Malama village and love it so much we wanted to write a review. Our hotel was changed and we were sent here at short notice and haven't been disappointed. The accommodation exceeded our expectations and is quiet, clean and spacious with no extra charge for air con. The appartments are well thought out with all the basics, fridge, crockery, toaster etc. there's a small on sight shop and local supermarkets a short walk away.
Thankfully we were upgraded to half board and we are loving the food so much. There's a different theme each day with loads of choice, assuming you enjoy a variety of healthy well cooked food and aren't a fussy eater. Sadly, so many of the kids seem to stick with the chips and chicken nuggets option. As a couple without kids we felt we maybe at a disadvantage in a predominantly family orientated resort but there are activities for adults ie archery, table tennis, water volley ball and the aqua fit class is highly entertaining. Also, we are blown away by the enthusiasm and dedication of the kids club staff who seem to have boundless energy and are constantly on the go. Watching them at work is a joy. The area the hotel is in is relatively quiet compared to protaras but with a good bus service that runs into the early hours and some local resturants and tavernas. A good local bar is El. Divo and Faliro's resturant on the main road with great cocktails for 3 euros. Having been to protaras we definitely prefer here.
Minor drawbacks are the gym which is lacking a good exercise bike, treadmill and cross trainer. Equipment is old and some of it dangerous. The beach is very small and taken up totally with sun loungers. There are two other beaches a short walk away along the top path. The sea is clear and very safe for children at all the beach areas. Good for swimming. Very pretty generally and with watersports available. People taking up sun loungers in prime spots with towels and then not using them for most of the day is a bug bare but there are plenty of loungers available regardless. Pool very active with kids but quieter around lunch time for those who want to swim. Lovely beach style bar also available and bar staff lovely, friendly and tolerant with kids. The place feels very safe and laid back. We would recommend Malama village and will be sorry to leave!

Room Tip: We were in room 3212 which was at the edge of the resort and a small block of 4 appartments. I hate...

My wife and I, along with our 2 children (aged 5 yrs and 19 months) have just returned from the Malama after a great 2 weeks. This was our first visit to the Malama and what a fantastic time we had. The rooms are basic but always kept very clean and tidy. The restaurant was really good, always a good selection of food to choose from whether it was breakfast, lunch or evening meal. A particular thank you to Vidas one of the chefs, who as well as a good cook kept everybody entertained and to Anelia one of the waitress's who always had a smile for everybody. The bar staff were always very friendly, especially with the children. A big thank you to Marinos, George and Jonny. The entertainment team were amazing always a smile and time to talk however busy they were, a special thank you to Helly, Edi and Miro for making my girls so happy.
We met some great friends who we'll be keeping in contact with, and we'll most defiantly be visiting the Malama again in the future, would recommend this property to anybody, especially family's.
