We booked a Superior Sea View Room which was nice but very basic, i.e. very small balcony, shower over the bath with shower curtain, no magnifying mirror or well lit mirror to do make up. However it was clean and contemporary with enough storage so did the job as we don't spend much time in the room anyway.
The reception/lounge/bar area are beautiful, as is the adult only pool and Koi restaurant area. We didn't really budge from here all day! Staff very friendly especially the pool attendants.
We were a bit confused on how to reserve the sunbeds, so here goes for anybody reading this who hasn't been before! Have a walk round and look at the badges on each beds, if you don't see a name, room number and date handwritten on them then they are free. They are all numbered so just go up to the hut to get your towel and advise you want to reserve that number bed. Some people who have been before actually email the hotel prior to arrival to reserve their favourite beds.
The one major downside to the hotel is breakfast time. The breakfast area is very nice however breakfast finishes at 10 a.m. but if you go in say 9.30 a.m. onwards you'll find sloppy runny scrambled egg, no orange juice and you might wait a while for any tea and coffee to be served. It feels as though they can't wait to clear up and get you out of there. Am probably being fussy and comparing to the service you get in the likes of Mexico and Dom Republic which is top class.
Koi restaurant is really relaxing at lunchtime and staff are brilliant, so big thumbs up to them.
You can also ask for a late check out, but you will only be told whether you can have one on your date of departure. We were given the option of paying 50 euro's to keep our room or check out at midday but be given a room to have a shower in free of charge which was helpful.
It is a very nice hotel and there is lots going on around it if you feel like nipping out to somewhere different for lunch, so I would recommend.
