“Stay somewhere else for better value...”

I was a bit weary of staying here having read some of the previous reviews.

We arrived late at night at hotel ( just in time for one cocktail) but we had missed dinner so we were offered a food 'platter' which was brought up to our room. This consisted of dry white bread ( but I guess you cannot expect Kingsmill standard as most forgein countries only have white bread toasted ) with a couple of slices of ham and cheese and some marble cake (apparently home made!) which was enough until breakfast!

Breakfast always consisted of Smocked Bulgarian Sausages, eggs, bacon, some salad, plain and strawberry yoghurt and a small selection of cereal.

Lunch was always chips, chicken nuggest/burger/fish fingers and rice and some salad selection and some sort of unrecognisable desert mostly consisting of soggy sponge!

Dinner was similar to lunch with a meat or fish dish on offer in some sort of sauce and once again chips and rice!! The best night was probably the Mexican night where you had some toritials and fajitas to choose from.

There was no real entertainment apart from a badly singing gentleman singing whichever song you requested (I believe he performs twice a week) and the Parrot show which is on once a week.

The rooms iteself were not bad. We has booked a studio but were allocated a One Bedroom Apartment on the second floor overlooking the pool. The rooms were clean but basic and the pool was a good size with plenty of sunloungers always to be found regardless of the time of day.

There is a bus stop right outside the hotel which will cost you 2 euros for a day ticket or 1 euro each way. Good value for money though considering you can go from Paralimni to Ayia Napa.

The last day totally ruined my resonable outlook on the hotel. We had booked a late check out and nowhere in the terms and conditions does it state that if you check out late that your All Inclusive also ends then. All it states is that the check out time is midday which is when AI also finishes - therefore we assumed that our check out time is 1800 our AI would also finish then. I was unimpressed when they tried to charge us 10 euros each for an awful lunch and 5 euros for 2 small cokes - not even half pints! Eventually - after kicking up a fuss we were not charged however it put a dampener on the day as the staff were then very patronising and rude in comparision to how they were previously - approchable, informative and friendly!!

I will NOT return to this hotel on an All Inclusive basis as I feel the standards are nothing to what I have experienced before - however if you can get it as a cheap Self Catering Apartment then I would consider going back as all day bus fares were only 2 euros and a taxi ride to the strip at night/ealry morning cost around 8 - 10 euros.

Just back from a week at the narcissos apts. The pool area is first rate ,there is a couple of little supermarkets for your cheap beer etc. at the entrance to the hotel,Protaras is a 25 minute walk away although the bus stop (1euro each way) is right outside. It was so hot there. lovely snorkelling coves a stones throw away, well half mile anyway!
The hotel itself is ok.3 star just about. its clean and tidy rooms are nice, food is not connosieur standard nor are the waiting staff, but on the whole its a place i would go back to, just.... Feel free to ask any questions.

We have just arrived back after spending 10 days at this hotel. We are well travelled and have stayed at some exceptionally good hotels in brilliant countries. However, this is not one of them. On arrival at 1am we were shown to a studio room. I explained we had booked a 1 bedroom apt - but had to wait till the morning to sort it out, which was no problem. Next day we moved upstairs to the right room. The room was very old and basic. The cleaners came in every day except tuesdays - to make the beds. Not a lot of cleaning was actually done. Our sheets and towels were changed once in the ten days !!!! The shower was very hit and miss - it would run ice cold or roasting hot - rarely at the same time. The ac worked in the bedroom but if you want it on in the lounge area you need to pay at reception for a separate remote control. No hairdryers - again you need to rent them in reception. There was reported sightings of rats running around the back of the hotel - so make sure you are not on the ground level. Also, on the first day whilst in the ground floor studio room, we accidentally left our key in the lock inside the door and came out. The cleaners were unable to open the door from the outside as the key was in the inside lock. However, the handyman went round to the back of the building and in less than 10 minutes - opened the door for us. He had removed the window frame and climbed in - not very safe and secure. The food is very basic and very little choice. Be prepared to eat out - especially in the evening, particularly if you like to sit at a nice table with a tablecloth . Here you sit on plastic chairs at plastic tables -with your knife & fork rolled up in a paper napkin. No nice touches. The drinks on all-inclusive are very basic, very limited and very watered down. The all-inclusive drinks stop at 11pm - after that you must pay for them and are expensive compared to bars in Protaras town. You can only have ice-cream at meal times - which is quite shocking if you have children with you. Unfortunately, this hotel is all-inclusive for the first year ever and seriously needs to get its act together if it is going to survive. We paid £700 each for the 10 nights - plus £400 extra spent outside on meals , which is quite a lot for a 2-3 star holiday. The nearest beach is about 10 minutes walk but is very small and crowded. Fig Tree Bay is a good 30 minutes walk - but you can get the bus outside the hotel and it only costs 1 euro each way.

Room Tip: Ask for third floor rooms, overlooking the pool.

I was a bit aprehensive about my stay here as I saw some of the reviews here on trip advisor. We arrived late at the hotel so we missed dinner and the bar was closed. It was really lovely of them to bring us some sandwiches to our room as we were really hungry.
The staff here all week were really nice and friendly. Especially Stefan, Nick, John and Boranna. They would always ask us how we were and what we had been up to.
The food was good. Each evening would have different theme. My favourite was Mexican. There was food there too though for children such as chicken nuggets.
There wasnt entertainment on each evening. They had some live singers and a parrott show though.
The room was large and clean, however we didnt spend much time there as we were always down by the pool sunbathing and swimming.
The hotel is in a good location as there is a bus stop right outside which goes into Protaras and the beach is only a 5 min walk away.
The last day there was a bit of a mix up with our late check out though. I dont believe it was handled very well. We were left to feel like we were no longer welcome in the hotel and the staff member dealing with the situation was bordering on being rude. So we didnt use any of the facilities, we left the hotel for the afternoon until we had to go back to get our transfer. I felt like this did spoil the end of our holiday so im not sure if I will return to this hotel. Next time I just might try another hotel.

I have just returned from holiday from this hotel and i have to disagree with some of the comments other people have written. We didn't go all inclusive so i can't comment on these views but i feel a holiday is what you make it. This hotel was clean, staff friendly, spacious rooms, we had a good view of the sea from the balcony.
Yes lots of either Russians or Scandanavians but they have to holiday too and yes they can be really arrogant but learn to ignore. Pool area was clean and tidy and the pool was very inviting i rarely go in the pool on holidays but this one exceptional. Kiddies play area was situated by the kids pool so if you had small children you were able to sunbathe there, you wouldn't leave children under 5 on there own, not too much there but enough to keep them occupied for a while, my grandaughter came to visit and although she is only 1 we had a nice 1/2hr playtime in play area and plenty playtime in the water. Food was a bit limited but edible. I think the wi fi should have been free, in this day and age everybody has some sort of gadget they go on holiday with, this was dissapointing, but overall a nice quiet area with a nice walk into town(20mins)

My husband and I are just back from staying in this aparthotel and what a lovely time we had. After reading reviews before we went I was a bit apprehensive as to what to expect but was pleasantly surprised when we got there, staff very friendly, rooms lovely and clean with maid service all but 1 day, pool area fantastic. We stayed half board which was buffet style. At the quieter end of Protaras with only a 20 min walk from the more busier part, plenty buses and taxis readily available but we enjoyed the walk. Fig Tree bay beach was lovely and we will definetly be back

Room Tip: Rooms on the 3rd floor nice sea view

Great location, bus stop in front of the hotel. Quiet region, nice hotel, beautiful garden with the studios, great swimmingpool. Breakfast abundant, varied, staff not likeable. It's not so great, when somebody takes away your plate before finishing the breakfast...
Cycle route, nice beach, you can walk along the costline.
A lot of excursion possibility.
We liked it.
