My wife and I stayed from 15th to 29th June,we arrived at 12.45am we were met by the owner and bar manager panic
What a friendly place to stay,we were offered food straight away even though it was the early hours.the reception staff were absolutely brilliant with everybody always had smiles on there faces and were genuinely sad when people were going home.the restaraunts were fairly close by,
A special mention must go to the well inn they have the biggest pork chop I have ever seen.all in all a very happy holiday thank you to all the staff you were brill.

We arrived in the early hours but George behind the bar was waiting to serve us! The reception area, dining area, bar and pool area flow naturally and are very pleasant, with complementing decor and accessories. Our room was spotlessly clean, as was the whole of the hotel,
Our towels and bedding were changed half way through the week, which is plenty, I would like to know how many times people change their towels and bedding at home when they complain and expect clean every day!
All the family and staff were very helpful, polite and friendly. They have a very good arrangement for accessing the safe if you choose to hire one. There are two keys for each safe, reception keep one and the guest keeps another, the safe can only be open with both keys.
It was quiet when we stayed from 'May Bank Holiday Tuesday' at the end of May to beginning of June, as it was in all the bars and restaurants we visited, we were spoilt for choice when choosing our sunbeds.
My two friends had lots of freshly prepared milk shakes but I loved the freshly squeezed orange juice.
The 'barbecue/meze' evening was not to be missed, lots of food brought to our table, far too much for us to do justice to.
All the family and staff were helpful, friendly, efficient and obliging.
We had booked a one bedroom apartment for three of us, I chose to sleep on the bed settee which I slept on fine (far more comfy than the bed I had last year in Skiathos!) my friends had no trouble sleeping on their beds either. We didn't make any meals or eat in so didn't use the cooking facilities or kettle, a holiday is for a rest and to eat out. We did talk to some people who had taken bacon, tea bags, coffee, biscuits and other food items - I can't understand why anyone pays ££s for a holiday then tries to save a few pence taking their own bits of food!
We ate at the poolside bar every lunchtime, a few breakfasts and a couple of evenings and were never disappointed in the quality or quantity of food. Each time we had breakfast it was past the stated finish time bit it was no problem to have it then.
It was a nice stroll along to the 'Strip' where the main shops and bars are, the sea front is a little walk along and then is a lovely place to stroll along with a welcome, cooling sea breeze.
We would definitely return to the Mandalena in the future and recommend it whole heartedly.

my son stayed here and i stayed a couple of nights with him and left there the day of my wedding, i was amazed how clean, tidy and spacious the rooms were, the staff were absolutely fantastic and so friendly and helpfull, it has a little Gym if your into working out in that heat, the bar is undercover with lots of seating, the pool is very clean with plenty of sunbeds, parasols and cushions, the reception area is cool and airey and reception staff are happy and welcoming,
it is even good for disabled as corridors and access are wide enough for mobility scooters or wheelchairs,
fantastic value and quality for the cost
