( might hold her to that one day ) little leo theas dog who i love lots, jean & terry and finally the gardener/handyman who was lovely & the cleaners who work so hard, anyway thats all the thanks out of the way so now on to the things to do & see ! we did the village red bus trip which was so good ! we booked at the local trip agent in pernera it cost 19 euros each for a 2 & half hour trip that took us through the local villages & to the green line where you can see famagusta ( the ghost city ) dave who told us all the history on this trip was so funny & it was well worth doing, a lovely place to eat is noufaro ( just going into pernera) its really clean & the food is really good, also mojito is nice to, i would recommend the platomare to all as it is situated in a lovely place near to beaches & everything you need, we will be going back !!!!!

I first went to this hotel 18yrs ago when my children were little, and we loved it,everyone there was very friendly and made you feel welcome. well i must say nothings changed and it was fantastic. The rooms are basic but very clean. There is such a relaxed feel about this place you can do as much or as little as you like. They really are child friendly and we are already planning our next holiday with the children and grandchildren. Can't wait. We ate at the hotel most nights because the food is good and reasonably priced. Also they do some lovely cocktails just ask Yannis for his screaming orgasm you won't be dissapointed.

first visit to the platomare and it was as others had stated it to be,very friendly family run hotel in a good location, very clean and good staff.we were delayed for 15 hours coming home and the hotel kept us in our own rooms for the duration and gave us a meal and drink which was most welcome.be very cerefull when booking with olympic as they use a tinpot firm called sky wings out of birmingham, delays are common place as we and many more before us have found out.this did not spoil our holiday as cyprus is a great place to visit many thanks again platomare.

We will be going back to Platomare next week and this will be our 7th visit. The staff and the location of the hotel are what makes it the perfect holiday for us. The staff can't do enough for you and the service is always excellent, particularly from Florin who is just a star, even though his Scottish jokes are really bad (only kidding Florin)! Must also mention Catherine, Jean and Terry who are always there to help if needed. The views down to the sea from most of the rooms are just lovely and the rooms themselves are clean, spacious and the air con works a treat, which is just as well as it's so hot most of the time. The food at the hotel is good too, especially the breakfasts and the cheeseburgers! Very reasonably priced as well. The location couldn't be better as a ten minute walk to the left will take you to Pernera where there are enough bars and restaurants to spend a night there, or a fifteen minute walk down to the sea and to the right will take you along the boardwalk into the main nightlife in Protaras where you will be spoilt for choice with bars and places to eat. Pay a visit to Platomare - you will not be disappointed!

Just returned from a lovely 11 night stay at the Platomare, our 1st time there, although we've stayed in Pernera several times
Great quiet location, just a few minutes walk from the coastal path that runs from Pernera to Fig Tree Bay, Protaras. Lots of nice beaches in nearby. Good size apartments, cleaned daily, linen changed twice a week. Air con just over 5 euros per day and we certainly needed it this time. Basic cooking facilities but we didn't really need any more.Temperatures were higher than they usually are in September. Pool area kept nice + clean. No problem getting a lounger even though I saw people putting their towels out at @ 0630 !! Staff helpful and friendly. Wi-fi access would be good - we had to visit other bars when hubby needed to use internet for work. Breakfast good value but little choice for vegetarians. We didn't have any evening meals here as there was never anything "veggie" on the menu, but prices looked good.
My favourite place for breakfast is Zafiros, a short walk along the coastal path. Try their pancakes with yoghurt and honey :-) Just has to be my favourite breakfast !
We usually stay in Pernera when we visit Cyprus and will return to the Platomare. Thanks for a lovely holiday :-)

We stayed in the platomare hotel in August 2011 what a lovely place . The staff are very friendly and worked very hard to keep it clean and well maintained . The rooms were very basic but hey you only sleep in the anyway . There was not much on the entertainment side of things but plenty going on in the nearby resort of Protaras which was about a 20 min walk via the beach walk and about a 10-15 min walk into Penera . We will definately stay here again. Me and my family really did not want to come home we met lots of lovely people due it being small and friendly .We stayed here for 2 weeks and I can honestly say it was probably one of the best holidays we have ever had . Like I said I cannot wait until we return again

Just back from a week in the platomare what can I say staff Terry Jean and of course the lovely florin who worked really hard and all the rest of the staff from cleaners to the gardener who also work hard to keep the place looking spotless are all friendly and nothing to much of a problem to sort for you .... The rooms are basic after all it's only a 2.5 star but you couldn't get any better the rooms are very clean beds comfy food really good pool spotless and usually quiet plenty of sun beds to pick from and location perfect a walk along the new built path takes you into protaras to all the pubs clubs and Restaurants and 5 mins up the road buses to any where you wish to check out .... A must the coke cola boat trip and red bus tours would recommend this place to everyone

Room Tip: Stayed in room B01 ground floor studio with balcony facing pool was quiet during the day and no one...
