We were directed to this fine cafe by our B&B host and it did not disappoint. We had the best seafood meal here, and, we had eaten many fine seafood meals in our trek around beautiful NL. The seafood linguine was filled with an abundance of the freshest seafood, to include scallops, crabmeat and Atlantic salmon. The cafe itself is unassuming, but the view from a window table overlooking the harbour ofJoe Batt's Arm is postcard perfect. Every time I have had linguine since, I keep comparing it to this lovely cafe on Fogo Island. There's no contest. This is probably the best place to enjoy the freshest seafood in Nl. Don't go over to Fogo Island without having a meal at Nicole's Cafe. It will not disappoint.

We dined at Nicole's Café as a group of 8. The atmosphere is cosy with a touch of elegance. Our waitress was relaxed, funny and very efficient. The food was delicious; a fresh taste of traditional Newfoundland dishes with a modern twist. My husband and I had two courses with cocktails and wine and our bill was less than $100!
Nicole's Café is a true hidden treasure. We have dined in many cities from Venice to Las Vegas; Nicole's Café ranks amongst the best. However, the spirit of Fogo Island and the service at Nicole's Café is unmatched. What a time!

Wonderful lunch, best seafood chowder that I have had in Newfoundland so far. Great presentation. Very attractive decor. Not to be missed in your visit to Fogo island.

While not a large place, the food was better than some of the spots we found in St. John's. The fried squid was the best I've ever had, and the cod was done to perfection. The service was a little slow, but not so much so that it detracted from the overall experience. The only negative aspect of our visit was the obnoxiously loud large group (8 or 9 folks) seated next to us. They didn't seem to realize that they were not the only people in the restaurant. The experience would have been better if they were not there or were better behaved!

Nicole's surpassed our expectations in all regards. The food was great and the service was just right for the occasion. The place was packed but we got a meal quickly and it was delicious!
