In a nice location, in the edge of the city, and only 5 minutes away from the city center (driving), with plenty of parking place and with nice view in the Messinian Gulf! The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the beds are with nice cosy mattresses and the bathroom is also capacious!
The breakfast was a surprise as it contained among other biological products, also traditional local honey, meat (pasto) and olives! The personnel was helpful kind, friendly and polite! Good price/quality ratio!!! Not to mention that the room was very peaceful and quiet even though the main road was just few meters away! Also the beach is no more than 20 meters away from the hotel!
Furthermore we should mention the collection of Olympic Jewels of Mr Papadopoulos Tasos that are displayed in the hotel!!

Room Tip: Choose a room with view in the sea!!!

I stayed for 2 days in Elite hotel. I had a single room, with a view at the sea.
Everything is clean, comfortable, the personnel is fantastic, also the hotel manager and the owner. Personal service, polite people, difficult to fing in a not mature destination in Greece.
Also in the hotel there is a unique collection of Olympic Games torches, since 1936 (!!!).
There are conference rooms, parking and all facities. The sea is only some meters from the hotel. Maybe the only negative is that it is not inside the city centre- you need a car in the destination- you cannot walk it- its about 4 kilometers from Kalamata city. Except that everything else is perfect.

Room Tip: There are rooms with a sea view- ask them

yes,I was there in 2009. at time pool terrace top floor was being worked on. see where they have done renovations on it. but at time was still nice hotel.I had bacolny facing bayside,so could sit and get sun. there where some small gift shops on the street with cafes and buses ran by quite frequently . not far from major department stores. would love to go back again.

Room Tip: ask for sea side room

Elite resort is a gem. The rooms, especially the two floored bungalows, perfect for a family of four with older kids (as I don't know how younger children would cope with the staircase) are spacious, pleasant and nicely decorated if minimalism is your thing. The lobby area is simple but elegant especially the ground floor veranda overlooking the beach. The staff is genuinely friendly and discreet. All in all a place which does not pretend to be something else than what it is, as is very common with many posh hotels in Greece. The swimming pool is a big plus, one of the best and largest I have seen in a hotel this size and the kids love it. Some improvement is required in the breakfast area. For example, a better variety of cheeses, breads and some scrambled eggs would surely give it some more points. We have stayed there twice in the last three years and having travelled all around Greece this an honest place I would gladly return to. Great for a weekend escape as it is only two and a half hours away from Athens and conveniently located on the edge of the city of Kalamata, right on the beach front. Keep up the good work!

Located on the beach. Hotel offers private olympic size swimming pool and private beach. They serve food at both areas. 100's of restaurants within 10 minute drive of hotel. Rooms include buffet breakfast, offering meats, cheeses, eggs and cereal. Rooms are fairly modern with sea views available. Hotel was surprisingly comfortable and staff very attentive.

Room Tip: take the jr suite for a few bucks more.

First of all I will say the positive things:
Big spacious rooms, Nicely decorated, Friendly staff, Nice view of the beach, Private sunbeds on the beach, Big parking space, Excellent Breakfast, Quiet.
Then the negative:
Dirty room floor, no hot water in the shower, a bit pricey for the quality of services provided.
