We have just spent 7 days at this Luxurious hotel/spa and can only speak in positives about it. The staff were courteous and attentive, the food was absolutely superb, the setting was breathtaking and the treatments divine!!!!
We would go back again tomorrow, it is ideal for honeymooners as well as for families and will definately be staying with them again. Well done to the manager for running such an excellant establishment! Best Holiday ever...........

If you visit their website you can believe everything on there is true. I was hesitant that it could be as good as it looked but it was truly a Ritz Carlton experience in the middle of Tuscany. At first it may seem a bit pricey but it does include full breakfasts that are delicious and gourmet five course dinners -- that you will not want to miss. We thought we would probably have most dinners out but made it a point to return to the hotel for dinner -- that's how good they were. The baths are wonderfully rejuvenating and there are quiet "rooms" throughout the facility. If you go to the bar ask for the bar manager Marco and have him make a Marco Spritz for you -- it's a delicious combination of Prosecco and red wine with fruit. Andrea was wonderfully knowledgeable about wines and willing to show you the wine cellar. Opt for a room that does not face the pool and you will have peace and quiet and a beautiful view of the hills. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough for most people looking for a relaxing vacation. Do be aware however that they run promotionals for families with children. When we first arrived there were screaming children in the lobby and we were concerned. Ask in advance if they're running one of these promotions. The crying children in the dining room can be annoying after a few nights.

We stayed at Adler for 3 days and overall ejoyed our stay.

The hotel is completely new, rooms are spacious, and the food is good.

The all inclusive formula includes the internal and external pool with a nice view over the hills, turkish bath, 2 different saunas and a fitness center.

The only thing we disliked was the staff, quite efficient but not very friendly, in particular the front desk that seemed only interested in selling expensive beauty treatments.

For example the day of our departure we requested help to pick up our luggage from the room while we were in the pool, and the answer was we had to do it ourself unless we were attending a treatment not included in the base fare...

Spa was a 5 star treat – hotel more like 4 star.

Spa facilities were excellent, and the treatments of a high quality. The atmosphere was very relaxing – even though the hotel was full the entire time we were there it never felt that busy, and the pool always seemed really quiet, with plenty of sun loungers always available.

Breakfast was excellent, with a very good choice, and very flexible hours. Next time we would not go for the dinner option though – it is fine if you cannot be bothered making the effort going into one of the nearby towns – but the wine is rather expensive. They also have very poor taste in piped/background music!

Make the effort to go into San Quirico D’Orcia for lunch or dinner. The restaurant associated with the Palazzo del Capitano, Trattoria al Vecchio Forno, was superb, and in the evening the streets are alive with the locals.

We did have an issue with our air conditioning which was never resolved in the 3 days we were there – but this didn’t dampen our enthusiasm for the place.

Just returned from a really relaxing break at the Adler Thermae resort which we found through Tripadvisor. Everybody on tripadvisor seemed to have good things to say about this place and we were not disappointed. Roland, the manager, made an immediate and good impression - greeting us and having a long (and sincere) chat to us over the welcome drinks. Food and facilities were excellent. It is also well located - in a delightful part of Tuscany, convenient for exploring Montalcino, Montepulciano etc. and Bagno Vignoni right next to the hotel was a beautiful little place. The hotel arranges a number of excursions if you don't fancy driving around yourself. For example, for just 15 euros per person, we took the trip to Montalcino where a local resident took us around the town (in a small group) and then went on to a nearby vineyard for a comprehensive wine tasting plus light lunch. All in all a great break & highly recommended rather than staying in one of the towns.

We enjoyed a very relaxing few days at the Adler Thermae at the end of August. I have to say, I was very impressed with the location and the property - both the facilities and the rooms. The spa was exceptional and I would go back for the spa alone.

My reservations - mainly the food to be honest. Breakfast was really good but the dinners in the evening were disappointing. I felt that the meals were too complicated - everything was with a twist. In addition, the wine list was pretty pricey and we all know that great wines are to be found very cheaply in the surrounding areas of Montepulciano or Montalcino. My best meal of the stay was just down the road in the little village. Simple bresaola, cingiale, great morellino di scansano to go with it and not nearly as expensive as the hotel was probably costing.

Oh well. Would recommend this place, but would recommend on a breakfast only basis.

My wife and I absolutely love Adler. The Val d'Orcia countryside is stunning and the resort is situated perfectly so the view from rooms, pools, and restaurant takes full advantage. We love the spa and pools - like nothing we've experienced before. Leaving was difficult. Our next visit to Tuscany will certainly inlcude another visit to Adler.
