Villa Ferraia

Was there for 3 days on my friends wedding occasion. Property is really far away from any sound of civilization, but still nice, secure, clean and comfortable. Stuff extremely friendly and helpful. Food quality base on local ingredients that are absolutely fresh. Vegetarian friendly! Local red vine may trick you a wile, so take care;)

The photos on Villa Ferraia's web site do not even come close to doing it justice! Everything was beyond expectation. Starting with the location and continuing on to the staff. Once you reach the top of the mountain, the views are spectacular! The villa itself was more than comfortable. Everyone in our party of 20 had their own space and plenty of it. The rooms were all lovely and very comfortable. The outdoor amenities were stunning to say the least. The pool was larger than expected ~ the kids (and adults) loved it! The hot tubs were all amazing, to sit and look out over the mountains in the nice warm water was an experience like no other. The pavilion was a relaxing place to sit, play cards, chat and escape from the sun for a bit. The observatory was really cool too! There was one night when the "professionals" came out and were able to show us the rings of Saturn along with many other amazing sights! I don't think the kids will ever forget it! There was so much to see and do we really didn't need to leave the property. However, we did venture out to Sienna and San Gimignano which were both easily accessible from the villa.

The best part of Villa Ferraia though is the staff. Tatiana is AMAZING! Every morning she met us with a smile and a wonderful breakfast! She continuously went above and beyond to make sure we had the best holiday ever!! My five year old ended up with some very itchy mosquito bites and I had not brought anything for it. Tatiana made sure that before the day was up, he had medicine for the bites. We arranged for several evening meals at the villa and Carolina and Stefano along with Tatiana made each one special! From the homemade pizza to the traditional Tuscan, each night was better than the previous. We had a cooking lesson with Stefano and it was truly one of the most fun evenings ever! (hopefully I will be able to recreate the food at home) Carolina is a hidden talent and is very knowledgeable about wine. She arranged a tasting for us on our last evening, it was a great way to end the trip. There was nothing they didn't do to make our stay one of the best ever.

Thanks a million times over to Patrizia and Vittorio for sharing their amazing Villa with us, and a million more thank you's to Tatiana for all the work you did to make this a great week!

Thanks to our daughter, my husband and I have stayed in some of the most luxurious hotels in the world, but none have impressed us as much as our stay at Villa Ferraria. The pictures on the website do not do this property justice. It truly is paradise tucked away at the top of a 3 mile, dirt & rocky road. All of the rooms are beautifully decorated and each has its own scenic view. The beds were extremely comfortable, too. There is so much to see and do here. Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, we quickly learned that we were wrong. The crowing jewel for us was Tatiana. She was fantastic and she made sure we didn’t want for anything. And I do mean ANYTHING! She, Carolina and Stefano made us feel like royalty. Tatiana’s smiling face greeted us each morning as we sat down to enjoy an amazing breakfast. Amazingly, she quickly learned each of our names. Breakfast was only the beginning. We looked forward to enjoying the scrumptious meals she had planned for us throughout the day. THE FOOD WAS AMAZING.

Our daughter’s wedding reception at the Villa was spectacular. The tablescape was absolutely stunning, the food was amazing and the service was as good as one would receive at any 5-star restaurant. Thanks to Tatiana, not a single detail went unnoticed and the entire evening was perfect from beginning to end.

Needless to say, we were all very sad to say goodbye to Tatiana and Villa Ferraria at the end of our stay.

This secluded villa is just off the beaten path enough to get away from all the crowds of tourists but close enough to so many wonderful towns in Tuscany to add a lot of variety to your trip. The staff here was beyond incredible during our trip. They were extremely friendly and accommodating of every need during our stay and the food they prepared was excellent.
The rooms are very comfortable and luxurious (check out the olive oil bath products).
Of course, then there are the views in every direction of rolling countryside with no noise, light or people in sight.
I highly recommend this for a relaxing and quiet part of your trip to Tuscany.

A friend of mine had her wedding reception here and a bunch of us stayed on location at the villa for multiple nights and could not have been more pleased. Everything from food, service, accomodations, setting, wine....and lots of it!...was fantastic. I hope to get back again and would highly recommend to fellow travelers!

I was lucky enough to have a friend get married in Tuscany and have our friends stay at this fantastic Villa. Tatiana, who did everything for us, was amazing! The Villa is breathtaking, the staff is attentive, kind, and fun, and the food is better than most restaurants--in Italy! I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and celebrate my friend's wedding. I recommend this Villa to anyone that has something to celebrate or just to get a group of friend's or family together under one roof. It was a trip and experience that I will never forget and I hope to return someday.
