The room (Les Lavendes) is beautifully laid out & furnished, with great little touches. The whole setting is perfect and so relaxing, lying round the pool or walking through the garden. Nothing is too much trouble for the owner Philippe and his attention to detail makes the property very special. I cannot recommend it enough if you are wishing to explore the region.

Room Tip: We stayed in Les Lavendes and it was a perfect room, very comfortable large double bed, big fluffy t...

Back for our third visit to Begoude, we enjoyed the facilities of our sumptuous apartment, the terrace and the pool. The bright lights of Cannes are half an hour away, but we made the most of the beautiful scenery by car, by bike and on foot. Private and tranquil: a find!

Room Tip: Excellent restaurants within 10 minutes' drive

This is now the third time I've stayed here: the places goes from strength to strength. Tranquil and relaxed, this is a great place to come if you either want to do nothing but sit by the pool overlooking the hills and perched villages or plan to do some exploring of nearby villages and/or towns (e.g. Cannes = 30 minutes away).

The swimming pool is heated, breakfasts are relaxed affairs and the mattresses appear to be Tempur-style, guaranteeing that I slept like a baby for the entire duration of my visit. I'd certainly come back again.

We travelled to the area for a long weekend and were really pleased to find this place, we've paid a lot more for rooms of this standard. The views are great and the B&B is in a very interesting area with many great restaurants etc. You'll probably have a car anyway to stay here in the first place so it being slightly out of Fayence/Seillans not a problem. The wireless access not working in the rooms was a bit of a pain as the wifi was one reason we'd selected this hotel in the first place - they were planning to sort this out I think. Our only reservation was that the staff were a bit too present for our tastes and had a lot of rules! Maybe understandable as they were so proud of the place and looking for ways to keep it perfect. Still...not only did we have to choose our breakfast on day 1 down to what pastry we wanted...then got exactly the same every day...but we only had to look at a sun lounger or garden seat before someone would come galloping over with a cushion and information on what we should do with it when we finished. The owner gave us way too much information about the reasons behind his poolside food ban etc. I recognise that we're probably very stiff and grumpy in this regard and that some people would love the chance to chat with the owners so much. Otherwise we thought it was great value and a fab place to stay, really very high standard in the rooms, better than many billing themselves as "boutique hotels".

I stayed with my partner for 3 nights, and I really liked the very nice and big garden in front of the house, the 12meters long swimming pool and a generous breakfast. All is perfectly tidy and cleaned up, the position of the hous is pretty nice and easily accessible by car with a nice free parking inside the fence. There is also a complete (fridge, dishwasher and a burner) open kitchen near the garden, where anyone could do some cooking.

The only problem has been that the wireless Internet connection (which is free) is not accessible in the room itself but only around the swimming pool, but this is not really a problem, since the deckchair around the pool are pretty comfortable.
