“A Special Experience”

In order to mark a landmark Birthday I offered my Wife the free choice of any new or previously enjoyed Restaurant and Hotel. I was very pleased when she chose Crossways. From first arrival guests are made to feel welcome by the Hosts, David Stott and Clive James, who display a friendly, courteous and professional attitude at all times. The attentive service and super quality of the Dinner probably surpassed our expectations. The whole experience was completed by the comfortable en-suite room and then topped by a great Breakfast. We will not hesitate to find another excuse to re-visit this charming establishment.

As always we were warmly welcomed and shown to our room, decor throughout Crossways is charming and our room had everything we needed. Our meal was cooked to perfection, David and Clive are charming hosts and we love their sense of fun and the description they give of each dish. Sorbets are to die for and this time was no exception, Damson sorbet made with Damsons from the garden. We awoke after a good nights rest to fresh fruit salad, full English, toast and home made marmalade. A real feel good break and we left as usual smiling. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. You will not be disappointed

We were treated to a great few days away with first class service. The breakfast was lovely and everyone was really friendly. The highlight was undoubtedly the meal we had the Tuesday night which we both agreed was probably the best we had ever had.
Thanks again

This is a beautiful little hotel that was well worth the drive from Brighton. The service was welcoming and friendly, unfortunately the dining room was booked out for a Saturday dinner but the owners recommended the nearby pub, the Giants Rest where the food was excellent. The king size bed was warm and comfortable, breakfast the next day was hearty, well cooked and filling. A wonderful place to stay.

Our stay at Crossways Hotel was truly delightful. Set in a beautiful part of Sussex, the attention paid to all aspects of our stay resulted in an extremely welcoming, comfortable and relaxing stay. The food excelled all expectations. Local produce is used in imaginative ways in menus offering wonderful variety. Greatly appreciated by locals. Excellent value for money. Will definitely be returning.

We have been visiting Crossways off and on for many years ever since the proprietors' days running the Fig Leaf in Hove. The welcome is always warm and genuine, dinner is always excellent, the bedrooms comfortable and well equipped and breakfast is wonderful too.
We love coming here and instantly feel relaxed and looked after. It's like staying with old friends who are brilliant in the kitchen!

We have been to Crossways for about 25 years and still enjoy our visits. DAvid & Clive are very Hospitable. We are airways given a very warm welcome. The rooms are very well decorated and comfortable. Dinner I in the evening is a must. David is a very good chef . Breakfast with home made marmalade is lovely. Good walks around up to the Long Man. Eastbourne is around 10 miles away. Lovely places to visit along the coast. All in all a great getaway.
