We have just returned from our 6th visit to the White Horse & cannot praise, the wonderful hosts Neil & Jill enough. The warm welcome, excellent food & good accommodation all make for a most enjoyable break. We have brought several of our friends who all had a great time. Can't wait for our next visit in April!

The minute you walk through the door you know that this is going to be an experience you will enjoy. The ambience, and the friendly welcome, give a warm glow - reassuring that you’ve made a good choice here. In your mind’s eye, whatever you envisaged constitutes an “old English country inn”, Sibton White Horse Inn will tick all the boxes - and more. It’s country hospitality at it’s best.

The accommodation - separated from the main inn by a 30 second walk - is spotlessly clean, bright, and has all the little touches which can make a place stand out from other B&Bs. We can only speak for Room 5 but suspect this is throughout. Clearly a lot of thought and effort has been put into understanding what is important to visitors. For you ladies, there is a large mirror with adjacent plug for the hairdryer - a feature surprisingly absent from many - even top end - establishments, as frequently pointed out by my other half. If visiting in cooler times, there is self-regulated heating, and the bathroom has under-floor heating if needed. Moreover, the bed is comfortable and inviting.

The restaurant is cosy and well presented - you may need to make a reservation as tables may be hard to come by at short notice - but fear not, food is available in other areas (bar, outdoors in better weather I suspect), but don’t miss out on it. Produced from largely local produce - much of it home-grown (take a peek outside the back door at the various plots and chickens) the food is fresh, full of flavour, and exceptionally well cooked and presented. Post-dinner, enjoy a night cap with locals at the bar - they appear to relish interlopers in their midst rather than resent!

And finally, it’s people that make or break any hostelry. Neil and Gill are hands-on owners/operators. Their small staff are friends as much as employees - and that’s how each and everyone makes you feel - friends. If only all B&Bs could be like this……

We've just returned from another of many wonderful stays at the White Horse. We feel at home from the moment we first arrive with a warm welcome from Neil and Gill who are perfect hosts. There is nothing we would change about our stay with the excellent food and very comfortable rooms. Neil and Gill fully deserve the many awards they've received over the last few years with nothing being too much trouble to make your stay everything you would wish it to be.

We have just stayed at the White Horse for 3 nights and found that Neil and Gill are excellent hosts and make you very welcome. The room was spotlessly clean with everything you could need plus very comfy beds. The pub is proper country pub with real ales plus a resturant serving very good food using lots of home grown vegetables from the pub garden. The breakfasts prepared by Gill and served by Neil are the best ever. We will visit again and recomend the White Horse to all our frienda.

Room Tip: Room 6 has a wet room shower & twin beds

We really enjoyed our stay at the White Horse. The welcome was really warm and our room was comfortable. On the first evening we ate in the restaurant and the food was so good that we ate there the next night. The breakfasts were good as well.

A great wweekend
