It’s a Travelodge – located on the London side of the City’s ring road, so of little use if you want to walk into the centre but the adjacent ‘Park & Ride bus will take you there. It’s next to a petrol station, a Burger King and a Little Chef. Our double room, facing away from the road and car park, was quiet and free of traffic noise. It could easily have taken an additional single bed without any difficulty. The towel rail was short and matched the supply of towels. They are giving up providing soap tablets and introducing liquid dispensers instead: the first part of the strategy has been successfully implemented. Staff were helpful insofar as they were able.

The bed was so comfortable.
The staff were very friendly.
Considering the hotel is on a busy road junction there was no noise to be heard, and because it was a hot evening I kept my windows open throughout the evening and the night.

Came here for a mini break for a bit of shopping and sight seeing.

The hotel is quiet, clean and has comfortable beds.

Staff are friendly and interested in their customers, but not intrusive.

The 24 hour garage came in handy when I'd forgotten my toothbrush.

All in all, a great stay!

We stayed very cheaply for a couple of nights with our two children in one room, slightly cramped but you get what you pay for and realistically you are only there to sleep!
The welcome could not have been warmer by Steve, who's exuberance unfortunately did not waiver even at 22.30 when he held a welcome speech at full pitch amplified by the length of the corridor, I thought it was a mini-cab driver dropping someone off to the room door.
Apart from that, it's in a great location if you have transport, there is the park and ride but a bit remote, perfect for us visiting a relative at UEA and a base for the East coast, Great Yarmouth, Mundesley and Cromer.
Room very clean, great shower, children moaned about comfort of "Put you up" beds but it was only two nights.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the car park may get some noise from the Shell garage, Burger King and the rather large...

I didn't intend on staying here but due to problems in both city centre hotels had issues!

Staff couldn't have been more helpful, and the hotel was nicer in fact. Plus free parking and buses into the city regularly.

Will be staying here again.

My mother was rushed into hospital so needed somewhere close to the N&N hospital.

Was checked in very efficiently as I was very tired. Room was basic but only needed to sleep. It was clean though and bed was comfortable.

Only gripe was that it was expensive for what it was. £76 seems very steep, but I needed somewhere without the fuss of looking around.

Hotel is located out of Norwich on the bypass.

Slightly secluded in the way no pubs or places to go within walking distance, but the little chef does its just, with 10% discount. The park and ride saved the day on Saturday, but was closed Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday which didn't help.

Staff were attentive and friendly and the room was generally clean.

Although the hotel is refurbished, it still has the old desk and headboard in the bedroom and old tiles in bathroom which looked out of place. Didn't affect my stay though.

Surprisingly quiet, even close to the main road, though I had a room at the back.
