I stayed with The Alpine Club in Chalet Abode at New Year. The chalet is amazing, the design works perfectly for a group as all the bedrooms and on suit bathrooms are luxurious and perfectly proportioned with incredible comfortable beds. The sumptuous living and dining area has wonderful vistas of the Belleville Valley.
10/10 so far. Then you add in the fabulous food and hosting by Sam & Amandine. The chalet was spotless and nothing was too much trouble. The food was as good as any Michelin One Starred restaurant I have ever eaten in, oh and by the way I have eaten a lot of Michelin Starred food!
St Martin de Belleville gives you access to all of The Three Valleys. You are driven to and from the slopes by your own on call driver. There is a new super fast covered chair from St Martin which whisks you up the mountain for easy links into Meribel, Courchevel and Val Thorens. The village retains much of it's charm as a French local village unlike many of the other resorts in The Three Valleys. There is an excellent local bar called the P Bar which has really good live music a couple of times a week.
Would highly recommend for a chalet holiday you will never forget for all the right reason!

Last year we stayed at Chamois Lodge and this year, Chalet Abode. Both are beautifully appointed. We had a wonderful holiday - the food that Sam prepared was out of this world - easily as good as a Michelin star restaurant and that's not surpring because both Sam and his charming French fiancée previously worked at Claridges. Amandine's afternoon cakes and homemade petit fours (especially her home made chocolates) were to die for. Keith looked after us admirably as our driver. All in all another great holiday - thank you!
In a word - FANTASTIC. Most people come to Trip Advisor to get the real perspective on a potential place to stay, if you're one of these people then all I can say is BOOK IT, you won't be disappointed. From the moment you arrive you are treated to luxurious surroundings, fantastic food and wine and views to die for. Personal chalet host Jess treated us to a stay we will remember for years, not to mention her partner Richard who was our chef, preparing visual sensations on the plate and a taste that was truly spectacular. Personal ski concierge Vito & Sandy, loaded, unloaded and carried our gear to the lifts for us, what more could you ask. The chalet is sumptuous and bespoke, architecturally renovated, meticulously decorated, stone and timber original building. The rooms being comfortable and welcoming with the softest of beds. I can't recommend the Alpine Club's Abode Chalet any more other than to say its my third time I have stayed with them and have yet to be disappointed in anyway. To be greeted on the first evening of a two week stay by the owners Helen and Chris with the chalet staff of Jess and Richard immediately confirms the level of service and personal detailing you get from staying here, to booking ski guiding, restaurant reservations and providing recommendations within the Three Valleys it's like having a personal assistant always on hand. The chalet staff soon have the other guests feeling like they have known each other for years with discussion flowing freely at every occasion.
In summary if you are reading this because you're not sure about staying here then let me convince you to go. It will be a holiday you will remember and will highly likely rebook as I have done. A truly fantastic experience, highly recommended, personal service with food that is spectacular all in an authentic village with views to die for. I most defiantly will be back
