“A real local gem of the bellville”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 October 2013

Since 1997 we have had to include a visit to le Corbeleys every season if not just for the excellent Savoyard cuisine but for a superb welcome and jovial banter with Martine, Monique and chef Bruno to name the family team we can remember.
We for years called the restaurant by the nickname of The pella Bar – a local variation of the Savoyard Tartiflette including mushrooms, Lardons, potato and smoked cheese – OK not great for the waistline but well needed after a day on the mountains
My favourite dish is the ‘Assiette de l’Alpage’ – a selection of local meats, salad, potatoes with a generous pot of cheese fondue to dip into while my wife loves to try the varied selection of plat du jour testing our understanding of some great French traditional dishes often with an original twist
A must every year, season, week or why not every day – like many of our guests suggest when they don’t want to leave the Bellville valley.

“Ugh”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 March 2013

Burnt omelette and re-heated chips plus dodgy service combined with the table next to us sending back their food twice meant something was awfully wrong. The bread was OK!

“Superb... great food, great value... go there and try it”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 January 2013

Eat here and you can read how this long established family went from animal husbandry and producing dairy products to running a very nice mountain restaurant.
The food is just how I like food... simple but great to eat, cooked and presented well. And the prices are 'normal' for the French Alps which is a very welcome relief from the ourageous prices that Courchevel restaurants now get way with for very mediocre food and service.
You'll find the restaurant at the second part of the St Martin de Belleville lift system up to the top of Meribel/Les Meunuires.
Our best 'find' in a couple of weeks skiboarding.
Tip. They serve food until 4pm so go for a 'late lunch' from about 1.30pm and avoid the rush...
