I went to visit this castle after reading a touristic leaflet during my stay in the area. I won't deny: the ticket is expensive (9 euros full price) with respect to other places nearby; however, after my visit I can say it's without doubt worth the price.
The guided visit inside (about one hour) is generally in French (visits in other languages are available only if there is a sufficient number of people), but very detailed brochures in several languages (English, Spanish, Italian...) are available. The castle is very well maintained, with magnificent decorations and furniture that recalled me a bit the much more famous Versailles. The visit explains the origins of the castle and the use of each room across time.
Ended the visit inside the castle, you can freely walk across the huge, beautiful park, with fountains, a pool, a labyrinth and a small tower on which you can observe the landscape.
In conclusion, I strongly suggest you to give this castle a try if you are in the area. I didn't regret about it!
