You can find these stalls in the Taiping Casual Market. It is by the side of the old bas station or infront of the Taiping Supermarket. It was famous in the 7-80's. I think this is the only koay teow stall where the cook sit on a small stool and fries the koay teow. You cant find it in any part of malaysia. Through the generations the sons have taken over from the parents but still maintaining the same style. but taste is not as what it used to be. but it is worth trying.
