We booked a cabin for three of us for three nights. We got there pretty late having been diverted due to the road closure. The owner was welcoming and showed us to our private cabin which he'd heated during the day.
The cabin itself is warm with two simple bedrooms, hot shower, equiped kitchen and seating area, plenty for a few days. And it has an incredible view out over the National Park.
They are also able to organise excursions, so we booked a trip on Lago Grey as well as three hours of horse riding, both of which were fantastic.
Unfortunately a pipe burst in one of the bedrooms, but as soon as we told the owner, a plumber ran out to try and fix it. But the whole radiator needed replacing. So he moved us into the hotel, a nice double room each.
Definitely worth considering this place as an option for your Torres del Paine trip. Just don't brush your teeth in the water as you'll get a bad stomach.More
