Don't want to sound like we are just moaning, perhaps we were spoiled at easter when we stayed in a much superior corfu hotel. However, we arrived at 11.30pm we were tired and hungry and were given some dried up cheese and ham sandwiches and pointed in the direction of our room. We got there to find that a) there were two single beds when we had specifically booked a double b) there was no fridge c) the tv didn't work 4) we had one towel to share. The next day when we talked to the reception staff we were told there are no double rooms at all, just twins, so perhaps that was the fault of our booking agent. They brought us a little fridge, and eventually fixed our tv. Towels were a problem throughout as the maid often just left us one to share (or perhaps it was that we were the last room in the block and she kept running out?) Whatever, the room was very basic and the beds not the most comfortable, but it was clean and the bathroom was quite spacious. The main building of the hotel was very smart. The restaurant was lovely with a terrace where you can eat outside. The food was quite limited in choice, with some strange combinations, but we usually found something. The staff in the restaurant were excellent, always polite and friendly. George in particular was lovely, very friendly and ready to help. The all inclusive drinks choice is also limited, lots of drinks have to be paid for. The entertainment ??? we had a car so we went out most evenings because the entertainment is very basic and is just the animation team doing various acts. There were not many English people staying when we were there, the hotel seems to be more popular with the germans. The pool area is really nice and we always managed to get a sunbed, some people were still putting their towels down before breakfast, but we often went down at lunchtime and still managed to get a sunbed. The beach is directly in front of the hotel which was good. A short walk along the beach there are nudist beaches if that is your sort of thing. The location is quite isolated unless you have a car. We regularly drove into Roda on an evening where there are some lovely restaurants and bars. Kassiopi is about 10 minutes away in the car and Sidari about 15 minutes in the other direction, both worth a visit.
