Stated for a few nights. It's brilliantly located in the old town, the staff are genuinely keen to help and friendly and the private rooms are a good size. What let us down a bit was the cleanliness of the room - balls of fluff in the corners, dust on all the flat surfaces, a toilet that smelled unclean.
On top of that the hostel is currently undergoing construction work - the pleasant communal area is completely unusable from 8am to 8pm due to a steel structure being put up, with deafening noise, sparks flying from welding, the smell of burning and metal paint. It would have been nice if the hostel owners had warned us about this major disruption before we arrived...
It's worth staying here by all means, hopefully you will get a cleaner room than we did. But I would recommend you don't book until 2 months after the date of this review by which time the construction work should be complete.More
