“Very friendly and welcoming!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 September 2013

While staying in Tavernelle Val di Pesa, my family and I visited this lovely vineyard and olive oil producer. The young girl, who was a university student working the summer, spoke excellent english and was very informed about their products. When we asked to taste the olive oil, she left and returned with the owners mother, who was a very charming woman (spoke Italian only), very excited to showcase the olive oil. She brought small slices of Tuscan bread, covered in their beautiful oil for us to sample. My two young boys loved the olive oil, as did my wife and I. It was a fresh, grassy, clean and slightly spicy oil (at the back of the throat) soon to be consumed heartily back home. The wine was also excellent, very characteristic of Chianti, with the rosato a particular favourite. We were very glad we made the visit and would highly recommend both the olive oil and wine.

“Very friendly winery”

Great spirit at the family winery, good products, her English was really good. Everything looked so neat and tidy and it's right along the road from Chianti Village to Tavarnelle. Their rossato is magnificent.

“Amazing time with amazing people”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 August 2013

Me and my girlfriend came to tuscany for a couple days and went to the city center where we encountered elena selling some of her family`s tuscany made wine and olive oil. There were other people selling their wines too but something about Poggio al Bosco and the characteristics in the people aswell as in the wine made us want to go visit their farm. And once arrived we got welcomed and well informed on wine-making, wine tastings which was delicious unlike any others i have ever had. This wine is made with love and you can see it. It is just beautiful to drink wine at a vineyard/farm where the same wine was made. And when you have that wine in your house, those are the bottles with a story. I know where it came from.

Also we loved the enthousiasm of Lorisse and the whole Estroverso story about the rose wine. Because you really are extroverts ( Lorisse and Elena ) and I will open that rose wine for the same use.
I had an amazing time ! Thank you so much. We will for sure come to visit again !

Goodluck and thank you for wonderful wine and olive oil !

“Fantastic!!!!!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 August 2013

Every year we go to Italy to discover more and more beautiful places. Poggio al bosco is always on our list because we can't resist the delicious wines! We always feel like coming home, Lorisse and his family make you feel more than welcome.
The olive oil is unbelievably!!!! We always buy enough oil so we don't need to use the "stuff" you buy in Belgian supermarkets. The best oil you can get is Poggio al Bosco's oil!

“Not to be missed”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 August 2013

We tracked down this vineyard after coming across their excellent 'Estroverso' rose' in a restaurant last year. Elena, the founder's grand-daughter provides generous and highly informative wine-tastings. The range of wines is excellent and fairly priced. We'll be back next year to top up our stocks!
Una bella esperienza. Una calorosa accoglienza per la degustazione e l'opportunita di compare vini buoni a prezzi giusti. Torneremmo la prossima volta che siamo in Italia con la macchina.
