We stayed here for 5 nights in August, and were lucky enough to have sunny weather for most of it. Anne has done an excellent job in restoring this old cider press into a beautiful, modern, sunny place which has bags of character. Our room 'Ouessant' did not disappoint with the gorgeous bathroom in particular which I wanted to pack up & take home - the bath is amazing! We had our own private terrace at the back which was lovely for aperitifs before heading out to St Marine (there is a fridge for guests' use downstairs). Breakfasts were also a highlight - every day Anne puts something different, local and extremely naughty on the table - yoghurt with salted caramel, creme brulee without the brulee, local prune flan - even chocolate crispies made by her children. The personal touch really makes a difference.
In terms of location, the beach is a 15 min walk away along a path through a nature reserve, to Kermor Beach which is stunning. There is a cycle/walking path behind the dunes from St Marine to Ile Tudy which is very useful, we hired bikes so it meant we didn't have to go on the road to get into St Marine for dinner.
Couldn't recommend this place enough.
