The cosmopolitan resort at Marmaris was well worth a visit. They had two large swimming pools, one much more quiet, the other had three slides for the family. There was enough sunbeds for everyone and shadow was easy to find. The breakfast wasn't great, but the lunch, tea and supper were very nice. They had quality food from many continents and a big mix of food as well. Unfortunately, the hotel is aroung 90KM from the nearest airport (Dalaman Airport). In Marmaris, it has a very nice location, it is not too close to the noisy bars, but within walking distance. Also, it is a very nice walk to the beach, but if you prefer, there is a shuttle bus from the airport often, the hotel is also close to the Atlantis waterpark. A fantastic place to go!

We were in turkey at the end of the season in october, we had a fantastic time. The hotel was great, food really very good, there was not much entertainment because there was not many people left in the hotel, but as the week came to an end the staff still made such an effort and made us feel that our holiday was just as important to them on the last week, as it would be on the fist. great holiday will go back again

Cosmopolitan resort is a gorgeous hotel. i read the reviews on here before going and was worried as there were a few bad reviews but i am so so glad i didn't listen to them, it just shows that people will write whatever they want on here to put people off such gorgeous places.
We got to the hotel in the middle of the night and we were amazed by how lovely it looked. the reception staff greeted us and he was lovely and smiley and very helpful.
he showed us where our room was and away we went. we went along to our room and everything was fine, small room however it was not too small. it was lovely and clean and the balcony was amazing and beds were so so comfy!! on our second day we had been out for a day trip and arrived back to a note on our day asking if we wanted to change rooms, so when i went to ask why this was he said 'it is a gift from our manager we want to upgrade you to a better room'. we jumped at this chance and it was the best decision we had made. the room was HUGE, it had a kitchen and a huge balcony looking onto the pool and in the next room we had a full sized door.
Aircon and tv were all included in the price we paid for the hotel which i was VERY shocked at, happy shocked of course.
The food was great for a buffet too, always different options every time we went for food. we also got snacks and ice cream in the middle of main meals which we loved.
couldnt of asked for a better holiday and was very upset to leave. we were only back in the uk for 2 hours before i was checking out what date the hotel re opens so we could book to go back.
i would most certainly recommend this hotel, for family, for friends, for couples, anything. there was always entertainment on for kids also.

Now the one and only bad thing i could say about the hotel is i would not use the hotel hairdressers, i paid 55TL for my hair and nails done and when i came out 2 nails fell off within the space of half an hour and the gems came off by the next morning. The nails got put back on but they did not offer to put the gems back on (which cost me an extra 10TL). My hair was exactly the same with the split ends i went in there with and the staff were really quite bad at english speaking which is surprising since it was a hotel full of mainly english people.
other then that there are no problems at all.

A brilliant first time visit to turkey!
The staff were very friendly and welcoming, rooms were cleaned daily, fresh towels provided, food was exactly what you could expect from an all inclusive hotel and if you fancy a change its not pricey to eat out (would highly recommend Tiffany's, the food was amazing and they will pick you up from the hotel)
The location was a little distance from the beach but once you know your way it's quite a nice little walk (around 20 mins) or you can easily get the bus which stops right outside the hotel and costs hardly anything!
If you fancy a wonder there are some bars/restaurants close by which have a great atmosphere, crazy golf and shops also close by. A holiday that is great for both adults and kids ... Could have quite easily have spent the week in the hotel alone as there was plenty of things to do!!
** Get booking, you won't be disappointed!! **

This was our first time in Turkey and we weren't left disappointed. Very clean hotel, our room was the perfect size for myself and my two boys. Cleaned every day with clean towels daily too. Plenty entertainment for the kids, waterslides in the pool, kids activities every day for kids of all ages. My boys enjoyed joining in and built up a good friendship with the Animation Team. Waiting staff all very friendly. Couldn't fault the food at all. There was always plenty to choose from and kids were well catered for. Evening entertainment every night was good, something different every night.

All in all, we found this to be a great hotel for families. Been home a week and have booked to go back next year!!

arrived at 5 in the morning, only to be pointed in the direction of our room, room 212 it was really bad, patio door didn't lock, air com made a really bad noise, plug socket hanging off the wall, went to complain and was told come back at 9 and see the manager, went back and was told to come back and see the rep.
we saw the rep paris, and complained she said I will see what I can do, hotel manager said that we could not change rooms and the problems would be fixed.
after a little argument we got a room change 213 there was no view at all but trees.
when we said that this is not what we paid for, it was the rooms in the brochue that over looked the pool, only to be told oh that's for the scandanavains and Swedish they pay more, my money is just as good as theirs, hotel manager does not like helping the british , I will not be recommending this hotel to anybody.
the food was ok if you like chicken every night, the entertainment is really only for kids not much else going on. it was quite boring.
it is a clean hotel maids work hard.
I would spend your hard earned money else where.
