Just returned from a 1 week stay at Mustis. We arrived at 3.30am to a very basic reception although Memet was waiting for us. We were shown to our room on the 3rd floor which we were dreading following reading previous reviews but it was actually ok. Yes, it was basic and tired but it was clean. The crockery, cutlery & utensils (except the bottle opener/corkscrew) all appeared new. The towels were huge and again, although not new, were soft and clean. The double bed however, did have a big dent in widthways but it didn't affect sleep any. The pillows were new, bedding clean & although the cover was quite small, we did sleep well. The bathroom again, was basic & tired and the shower tray did overflow at times while waiting for the water to reach the right temperature. The bin & toilet brush in the bathroom were also new. The rooms we cleaned daily with clean bedding twice and clean towels every other day.
Our first day we decided to spend by the pool after a long day previous. Memet explained the meal offers they have on site and gave us a quick guide to the area we were in. There are several restaurants & bars close by, 10 minute walk to the beach and a 25-30 minute walk to the harbour. The pool area was clean, sunbeds comfy, and the pool bar served drinks & snacks all day. The pool bar tables & chairs were all also new. Memet explained he had recently taken over the apts & was doing everything he could to build a better reputation but a lot of money needs spent and he will get there but it takes time. There was a kids play park next to the pool area but this was not owned by Memet. The walls/perimeter fencing around the pool in my opinion wasnt secure enough for people lying by the pool with electronics and money about them. The pool is quite small and there is a small kiddies splash pool. There was no pool table as advertised.
A Turkish BBQ night was held on the Saturday and although we didn't partake, it was evidently a good night.
For what we paid for the apts, I couldn't fault them, although improvements are needed in certain areas, such as reception area & the downstairs toilet/changing area, which were a bit grotty, it is something that Memet is working on. I would stop here again for a bargain holiday.
Bars/restaurants worth visiting are - Ozzys bar, Ibiza Fun Pub where the staff in both bars made us exceptionally welcome and chuckle brothers for good food.
