I booked this hotel with Jet 2 then read the reviews, hoping it was going to be ok. On arrival to the airport we had to wait 20 minutes for our transfer bus then the actual transfer took 2 hours. We arrived at the hotel early hours, greated by the receptionists who advised us to hire a safe which im glad i did for £10.
We got a 1st floor room with a balcony which faced on to spare land to the back of the hotel. Rooms were basic 2 sofas, table, fridge and tv in lounge. 2 single beds and unit in bedroom (only room with air conditioning). Bathroom was ok plastic on toilet worn, soap dispenser broken and shower curtain stained with mould. Big wardrobe with safe inside but no coat hangers provided.Towels and bins changed everyday and sheets every other day.
Regime of meals given breakfast 07.30-9.30 lunch 12.30 - 14.00 dinner 19.30 - 21.00 only had breakfast twice which consisted of bread, cereal, boiled eggs, beans and cooked meats then the occassional omlette. Lunch same old salad, chips, random meat which was mirrored at dinner. Drinks available all day with self service juice / water. In the dining room flys were everywhere no getting away from them if you dine outside instead of flys there were wasps so no winning.
Pool was small, reasonably clean. Big slide for children or big russian teenagers dangerous as no safety rules at this pool followed and there was at least 1 accident a day resulting in stiches or ambulances the doctor was very busy at this hotel. Ground around pool very hot and slippy with green algae growing under slide with added to the slippery surface. Yellow safety signs were put up after a few falls. Not enough sunloungers for guests we sat at the poolside tables most of the week as people put down towels then go back to bed. There is supposedly a fresh water pool round the back of the hotel . . yet to see this unless its a hose pipe.
Entertainment i didnt stick around to see so cant comment we went out or ate out most nights. There is a nightclub joined to the hotel but not included in the all inclusive package.
Mini supermarket, jewellers, hairdressers and tattooist joined to hotel, supermarket became our 2nd home as we visited daily for icecreams etc. hairdresser can be unreliable double booking etc. tattooist seemed ok but did see a rather young lad getting tattooed dont know if age laws exist.
Jet 2 as a company not very reliable. Rep zafer visited for our welcome meeting and advised us on how to get to marmaris blue stripe buses run every 4 mins from main road take you to city centre for 2tl. and hotel run free bus to icmeler beach 10.30 - 18.00. Also if medical emergency to contact him before as they try 2 haggle more money for medical bills.
Trips with Jet 2 are reasonably cheap but unreliable, we decided to go on dalyan boat trip the bus didnt turn up for us so went the following day, trip was 10 hours long and visited turtle beach, kings tombs and mud baths was a good day but too long. Jeep Safari was a really good day out a fleet of 20 jeeps convoy through the mountains of marmaris with a water gun fight for the first half of the day then stop twice for drinks and food. We booked talk of the town a drag artist night which was cancelled we received 4 hours notice and had to get our money back the following night on the Bar Crawl the bus was 30 mins late and drove us round marmaris for an hour before dropping us off at an unknown location the bar crawl was 'ok' but no atmosphere and drinks were a bit pricey.
Most guests at this hotel complained about something either to each other or to the rep or managers.
If you want a cheap week away, live on chips n lie by the pool probably alright. Only good thing was plenty of British people to chat to few russians. The turkish waiters are a bit over friendly though.

I don't feel this hotel is the right accommodation for a couple. We did not like having music being played constantly, directly after breakfast until 11pm at night - often thump, thump, thump! We were told there was a gym, and there was no sign of one. Not enough sun shades to go round. At busy periods, we felt dining room resembled more of a canteen. Turkey does suffer from power cuts and on two occasions, the loud generator came on at between 4 - 5am.

Room Tip: As far away from emergency generator as possible.

This is the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. The holiday brochures are misleading and I will be demanding my money back and that is what you all should do. Hotel is on top of a mountain no free bus three times a day only once if you re lucky. The bus stop is not outside the hotel twenty minute walk down and 40 mins back and that's only to the bus stop forget about the lovelly sea. Food is disgusting and you have to remind them to put out snacks which are just cakes. Do not take ur kids there it is dangerous. Most of the staff are very nice but management and restaurant supervisor don't have a clue about costomer service or valuing their guest. They would not even give me milk sometimes for my tea. I begged my rep to move me and they did not. I will be complaing and demanding my money back. Everyone there were distressed and complaining at being mistreated. What are these tour operators thinking about sending families to that HELL HOLE only good thing about it was made new friends from south big shout to them who are still stuck there for the rest of the week. We ate out most days and nights cost us a bomb and had to pay a bomb in bus and taxi fares. Anyway back home now so let the money back battle begin.

Got back last week from club seray, took my wife to celebrate our pearl wedding , we have been to turkey several times and knew what to expect ( so we thought ) yes the price was good, buts thats it !!!.
We have stayed in marmaris a few times before and the cost was less than the club seray and far superior in every way, on arrival the key and all-inclusive bracelet are thrown onto the desk at reception, you are not even given directions to your room, on entering our room (back facing) i turned around and went straight back to reception, simple i was not staying for 2wks in a room that was dirty/dark/had a dog outside, we therefore stood their for 3 hrs waiting for the manager to come and we were moved to the attic room, (a lot better).
After 3hrs sleep we arrived in the dining room for our first meal, oh dear !! dirty tables, burn holes in table clothes, filthy upholstery on the chairs, chipped plates etc,,food edible at most, chips, chips, and chips,
Small plastic cups for the drinks, the cheapest version of soft drinks money can buy, served warm from 2 litre bottles, one day sitting by the pool i watched for an hour a CAT eating the kebab meat that was being cooked on the burner in the poolside cafe, "jack" was only interested in selling cocktails for the night club or asking you for a cigarette "every day! yes some brits went over the top with drink, but hey were just young people on a all-inclusive, just enjoying themselves, SUMMARY-- DIRTY-RUBBISH-MONEY GRABBING- HORRIBLE HOTEL.

me and my friend booked a cheap budget holiday to turkey all inclusive for 1 week. We were supposed to be staying in 'the seray hotel' but when we arrived at 2 oclock in the morning they told us that they were full and they didnt have a room for us before sending us to a hotel around the corner. we were so tired that we agreed to stay in the other hotel for one night only and they promised us a room the next night in the hotel we had booked to stay in. we went back the next morning to sort out a room to find that they were still claiming they were full. after wasting our first full day arguing with the staff the manager turned up and we got moved to the club seray forest where we were promised the biggest suite. This was not the case. the room was a good size and it was clean but it was nothing like the pictures we had been shown. We weren't too bothered as we hadnt paid much for this holiday so aslong as the room was clean it wasnt a massive problem. however, even though we didnt expect a luxury five star hotel for our money we expected to feel safe and to be treat with respect which didnt happen at all. the staff could hardly speak english and a lot of the time were disgustingly rude, the woman serving at the bar didnt not say a word and made you feel very uncomfortable but the biggest problem of all was every night when we arrived home after being out at about 3.am the two men on reception hassled us to talk to them etc. when we said no and got up to our room they would ring us on our hotel room phone. Also, the hotel entertainment guy was horrendously rude and pervy to us one of the nights when he made a comment about our boobs and which ones he liked and which ones he didnt. the food was horrible, yes i understand that you are in turkey and it is turkish food but that wasnt the problem, the food, turkish or not, was very poor and didnt even look safe to eat. I stuck to chips all of the time but we ended up eating out a lot which kind of defeated the object of being all inclusive. The pool bar serves food but is not inclusive so you have to pay but i will say that the chef who serves at the pool bar is very polite and friendly. the only way to describe this hotel is 'shameless' but in a hotel. we didnt have a problem with the guests really but we kept our selves to our selves as we had heard there had been some fighting going on before we arrived and they weren't the sort of people you would like to upset. the alcohol wasnt watered down but it was the cheap stuff which isnt the end of the world. they dont have proper cola, sprite or fanta which we struggled with as it didnt taste great but it wasnt a major dilemma. Overall, i would not recommend this hotel for two young girls or even a group of girls in a million years. we didnt feel safe atall, reception were there to look after us and keep us safe and even they were hassling us and it was quite worrying to think they had a key to our room. I think if you are going to stay in turkey, spend a bit more for a decent hotel as you are likely to get messed around with rooms etc which ultimately spoils your holiday.
