We stayed here for 2 nights and the staff did all they could to help us. We had a room on the 3rd floor with a great view. The breakfast was phenomenal with a great choice of cooked food and cold. With fruit and you could toast your rolls. The room was fairly basic but the bathroom was spacious, and we both slept so well. The outdoor pool is a bit small but was O.K. for me as I could walk to the end as I can't swim. When there are more than 4 or 5 people in it is crowded. The also have a small indoor pool but we did not use it.

Room Tip: Any would do.

High quality hotel in a lovely location. Modern, airy feel with polite and helpful staff. Very good buffet style breakfast and plenty of nice places to eat with 10mins walk of the hotel. Great value hotel.

Stayed at the hotel Flamingo for a weekend (11-13 July). Arrived late on the Friday night, but reception staff were very welcoming and helpful, and we checked in within 5 minutes of arriving, before having a drink at the hotel bar overlooking the ocean.

The room was cosy and clean with tons of wardrobe space. It may be worth saying we were in an attic room, so no view or windows, only a skylight, but this was fine as once outside there are fantastic views, and a two minute walk to a small beach.

It is in an ideal location to walk into the centre by the port where there are many restaurants and quiet bars, and a larger sandy beach, or if you want to stay and relax, there is a small garden by the outdoor pool which is very nice. There is an indoor pool as well, but didn't use it as too nice outside!

Breakfast was included for both mornings and there was a large selection of hot and cold food, fruit and cereals to choose from. I am going back to stay again in September and looking forward to it!

Tidy, clean, staff pleasant and helpful, nicely decorated. Didn't have a chance to have breakfast, but the restaurant looked very nice. Location was very good - the open sea was just across a very quiet road. Would definitely stay there again if I was in the area.

We used this hotel on road trip to south part of Spain.
Hungry from full day driving, kitchen was closed and dinner was available really late (20:30).
Attic room having big balcony towards the sea, but with zero visibility. Terass fence about 2.5m high, made of solid concreet. Safe carage, but extremely tight.
Even tough we were only customers in entire hotel, would have expected to get a bit better room. Would not come back to this hotel.

The hotel was very easy to find from the motorway and enjoys a superb position overlooking the bay and the harbour of L'Ampolla. The resort has invested in a boardwalk round the bay with panels explaining the history and wildlife. This made for a pleasant morning stroll. It is an easy walk down to the small town where there seems to be a good selection of bars and restaurants.

The hotel reception staff were pleasant and helpful. They gave us clear directions to the hotel's secure garage. Our room was lovely. The windows opened onto a small, furnished balcony with views of the bay and harbour. The room was nicely furnished and the bathroom was modern with all the usual toiletries.

We ate in the restaurant but, unlike other reviewers, we found the food no better than average with quite a limited choice on the menu del dia. If we stay here again we shall investigate the restaurants in the town.

However, we shall never use the hotel garage again. There is plenty of street parking available and the garage is a nightmare. It is shared with the adjacent apartments and the hotel's parking spaces are on the lower floor. The car park is badly designed and it took several attempts to get our car (a Mazda 6) round the corners and down the ramps. Be warned!

Satisfied with this hotel! Meals very good!!!, correct service, nice view towards the harbour and the bay, so you can enjoy the most wonderful sunrises between 7 and 8 o'clock! Indoor swimming pool but need to buy a cap at the reception. Most important for me was that the hotel is situated at a 30 minutes walk of the very beautiful bay of the Fangar with possibility to visit the nature reserves of the Delta de l'Ebre and hire a bike to visit the place where the flamingos stay! On the place where you hire the bikes you can find a small restaurant where you can enjoy the oysters and mussels cultivated in this area.
Concerning excursions : just folders present, no help from the reception; You have to go down to the center of the place to and office to get information in order to book an excursion in the Delta!
