Maso le 4 Stagioni is about half a mile out of Arco itself and up a mountain road, which means renting a car for our trip was very useful. We arrived late on our first night but Daniela had food ready for us and was very accommodating. As our room didn't have the best view, she even offered to move us as soon as a lake view became available - something most British hoteliers would be doing to get more money, but not here.
The house itself looks fairly new, and is beautifully built and finished with lovey woodwork throughout and a lot of details that make you feel you're in a unique place. As you'd expect, the views are breathtaking but, as a keen runner, I can say the road isn't so steep as to stop you from getting into town in 10 minutes on foot. Daniela went out of her way to make us feel welcome - even offering us a lift to a restaurant one night.
Good food, attentive host and great atmosphere - would recommend.
