A very moving jurney into a time of 2nd world war between 1943-1945. Showing how a common goal of few individuals can create a healing place beyond belief and against all odds!
Most evident is the human spirit presented. Inspite of the big flood which wiped the whole place out on 2007, the museum was rebuilt as it was originaly. The complex of the Franja Partisan Hospital is comprised of 14 wooden barracks and several auxiliary facilities. They were gradually built in the narrow, difficult to access Pasica gorge in Dolenji Novaki near Cerkno.
We spent 2 hours and I felt I could stay longer and learn more.
