This restaurant is hard to find but well worth searching for. Penonome has two main one-way streets. One going up from the Interamerican Highway and the other returning back to the highway. Sweet Tamarindo is on the right side of the return street and not easily recognized as a restaurant. There is only a small sign, hard to see if you are driving. Both inside and outside seating available. The restaurant is very neat and clean. The service was excellent and very friendly. The food was wonderful, just as good as the best I have had in Panama City. Do not miss the unbelievable brownie sundae desert. This is definitely my favorite restaurant in Penonome and I look forward to many more dinners there in the future. Two excellent dinners with deserts, tax, and tip came to $37.10. Not as cheap as some but worth every penny.
