I was very impressed with the personal service the host family give at this guesthouse. The guesthouse is well signposted from the main road and has a large free car park at the rear. Angela met us at the car and helped us with our luggage. We had a welcome drink and Angela explained about Plitvice Lakes National Park which was approximately a 20 minute drive away. She recommended the H Trail at Plitvice Lakes which incorporated the upper and lower lakes section starting at the upper lakes so we would be walking mostly downhill. A great recommendation! The room was beautifully decorated with comfortable beds, a fridge, coloured strip light above the bed, a large new bathroom and a balcony with a lovely view of the surrounding hills. My niece chose to have the evening meal and said the vegetable soup was exceptional. Even though I didn't have the meal as I am a picky eater and had eaten earlier, I sat with my niece and had a glass of wine and was given a complimentary fruit salad when dessert was served. The guesthouse has an outdoor pool and hot tub. It was too cold for the pool, but Angela did prepare the hot tub for us to use after dinner which was very relaxing and had coloured lights in it. She also put some relaxing music on for us to listen to whilst in the hot tub. The host family were so thoughtful. Next morning when we left, Maria, the mother of the house who did the cooking waved us off and later sent us a message saying they hoped we had enjoyed our stay. This is a fantastic guesthouse, close to Plitvice Lakes where the host family give a lot of attention to detail to ensure their guests have a good time. I'm sorry we didn't stay for two nights instead of one. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and thoroughly recommend to anyone going to Plitvice Lakes National Park.

The guest house is newly decorated to a high spec. The location is great for visiting the lakes. Set back from the road it is very peaceful and has great views. They offer a delicious homemade dinner if you don't fancy heading out (lots of the ingredients come from their garden). If we were visiting the area again we would definitely stay at Plitvice Hills.

The owners and their daughter Angela are wonderful, they are friendly, helpful and go out of their way to ensure you enjoy your stay. The home cooking is far better than anything you can buy in restaurants locally and breakfast is very good. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, wifi works well, parking is easy and the hot tub is great when you have just spent 6 hours walking round Plitvice Lakes. There is so much more to do in the area than just Plitvice.

Room Tip: All rooms have a balcony and a good view

Stayed here for three nights while visiting the national park. Angela and her family ensured we were well looked after in this lovely guesthouse The bedroom was bright and modern with a balcony to sit out on and the bathroom facilities were excellent. We had breakfast and arranged a packed lunch which was lovely. Great parking facilities and outdoor seating area and hot tub for guests to use

Quaint location, surrounded by hills and open spaces...Nothing more to ask for when you have been travelling and on the road for the last 12 days and been in hectic cities! The patio has tables, chairs and hammocks for your use. And of course, green all around to relax in.

Without bias, one of the friendliest hosts we met on our road trip. All 3 of them are working hard at this newly established bed & breakfast. We reached a little before time and were warmly welcomed; hot cups of coffee were served to refresh us before we set out for our day at the Plitvice Park.

The rooms are fresh and new, very well done with a lot of thought put into the interiors. The family is well travelled and have put their experiences at various B&Bs to good use. Location of switches, charging points and other small matters is evidence of the same.

They gave good sound advice on how to use our time at the park to get maximum benefit. After our long day at the park, we were given steaming cups of beverages to revive along with homemade brandy for those needing stronger sustenance.

Nice restaurant within walking distance for our dinner. Breakfast was served in the little dining room as per your requirements. Large and served with many home made delicacies. A big thumbs up from me.

Room Tip: All rooms have balconies with good views.
