We were in Panarea early last May for a few days. The island is simply beautiful and at that time of the year it is just enchanting. The type of place that makes you wish you did not have to leave.

The place we had found: B&B Da Luca, was perfect. Just a little out of town – not a problem. The hosts, Luca and his mother, Lina, are gentle, respectful people and they will do their very best to make you feel at ease and content. The surroundings are wonderful, the view on Stromboli is right there and the rooms are clean, well maintained and all have their own little patio. And all of the ‘’nespole ‘’we picked right out of the tree next to our room were unforgettably good – all this done with permission from Lina , naturally.
All I know is that I will be back,

Set on a hillside a little out of town (10 mins walk from town centre), this B&B is run by mother and her son, Luca. Luca will meet you off the ferry and drive you to the B&B in the electric buggy. He knows everyone and will help out with anything you might want to do.

The room is very clean, comfortable and well equipped with a kitchen for your use and your own private balcony area with mountain rather than sea views. Bathroom is good quality and there are lots of towels etc.

Breakfast is adequate but very simple - good coffee but too many pre-packaged rolls/croissants etc. and not enough fresh fruit, fresh juices for such a rural Italian setting in my opinion.

I would definitely stay here again.

Luca, the owner, met us at the ferry dock and had a taxi waiting for us which was very convenient. We had a lovely, spotless room with a large fully equipped kitchen and our own private patio. The entire B&B has been outfitted with mahogany wood, tile and first class appurtenances, all done by Luca himself with outstanding craftsmanship.
An excellent breakfast was served on the main terrace with amazing views of the sea, Stromboli, and other islands. Lena, Luca’s mother, was delightful. She prepared a different breakfast each day consisting of cappuccino, fruit juice, a variety of fresh pastries, bread, jam and fruit from her garden. She also surprised us at times with little treats: large sweet lemons from her trees that we ate like grapefruits, homemade cookies and pressed wine which tasted like sherry, and a delicious cake which hit the spot after a long day of hiking. Lena’s personal touch was greatly appreciated.
We would highly recommend Da Luca. It is a perfect place for a relaxing and enjoyable stay!
