It's not on the beach but almost is, you can walk onto the beach and they this have remains that you can look at, but back to the museum a really intersting museum lots to see and look at was a very pleasant experience to see, would recommend

I only wish I had had more time to explore the museum. Made me proud to be a Canadian. Don't miss the short film at the end, it's wonderful. The museum is laid out in such a way, that it helps with understanding World War II from a broader perspective. The people who work there are very sweet and helpful.

The Juno Beach Center far surpassed my expectations. A great museum detailing all aspects of Canadian history leading up to WW2 and their operations throughout the war. Short film near the end of the center was excellent and definately gets your emotions working. The guided tour is a must, our tour guide Jennifer was outstanding, very knowledgable and enthusiastic throughout the 45 minute walk through the bunker and command center. Overall just outstanding, a must see to all, especially if you are Canadian!

The Juno Beach Centre does a decent job of presenting Canada's role in D-Day. For a broader perspective, I suggest seeing the excellent Memorial de Caen first. The displays at Juno Beach were well done and the guides enthusiastic.

One oddity we noticed is that they employed a guide who was clearly an English speaker to do the talk in French, while our English talk was given by a francophone from Quebec. Don't know why they would not use guides working in their first languages.

If you have to see just one museum in Normandy this is it. Great Canadian guides. They are all actually from Canada. Very well versed in the history of the Canadian experience. Great detailed tour of the bunkers and tunnels that is not to be missed. Very good laid out exhibits. Don't miss the movie, the end will bring you to tears!
