This was our second stay at primrose cottage and was just as good as the first. Newly decorated bedroom and lovely new power shower was great. We were fortunate to have a week of glorious sunshine so visited, again the lovely beaches of Dieppe, Le Treport, Le Crotoy and the picturesque St Valery Sur Somme. Otherwise spent the time relaxing in the pretty (fortunately shady) garden.
Was lovely to see Irene and Norman again. They are very friendly and helpful with lots of knowledge of the area.
Hopefully we will return again in the future.
charming cottage, all amenities we needed, very comfy bed! Very clean and cosy. the owners were so helpful and friendly, they booked a vet appointment for our dog and even offered to dog sit if we wanted to go out in the evening. The village was so quiet and peaceful we feel really rested. Not too far to get to Hesdin where you can find everything you need such as supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, we particularly reccommend la belle epoque, great service and food, also dog friendly! If you like History there is so much to see in this region. We would happily return to this cottage and region. Highly reccommend it.
We stayed at Primrose Cottage for two weeks. This is an area we had not stayed at before and there are plenty of places to visit for all ages. Irene was very welcoming and showed us around the cottage explaining where everything was and how it worked. At the end of our first week we were offered fresh bed linen and towels. Although not intending to spend the majority of our stay indoors the English TV was quite a nice thing to have (and something we have never had before at holiday let's in Europe), especially to be able to watch the morning news and we even caught up on a couple of programmes in the evening so we didn't have to catch up on the recordings we had made at home.
The kitchen could not be better equipped and had everything (and more) that you could possibly need.
The bed was comfortable and a very soft duvet provided which fortunately with the weather being so warm we did not really reap the benefit of.
Norman was very helpful and knowledgeable of the area and had a wealth of places to visit.
We thought hard about if there was anything negative about our stay and the only tiny thing would be that the WiFi (provided free though I would add) was sometimes a bit hit and miss and would drop out. Cannot really call this a problem though as there are many places that do not provide it at all or charge for it.
All in all a perfectly lovely stay. Many thanks Irene and Norman.

We have had a lovely stay at Primrose Cottage. Everything here is of exceptional quality from the cooking utensils to the bed linen. Irene and Norman are very welcoming and helpful. A car is essential but only a short drive away is Hesdin with shops and good restaurants. The WW1 battlefields are within a one hour drive and the coast just 45 minutes away. We enjoyed staying here so much we have booked again in summer. Wifi is a bit hit and miss and we couldn't get a phone signal, the peace and quiet of the village was wonderful. Thank you Irene and Norman.
