“Friendly - Even without a bike”
Reviewed 16 August 2014

Friendly efficient staff and excellent light meals and drinks at reasonable prices.
I have not ridden a bike for years but find this place welcoming, with all of the benifits of being independent. The owner is behind the counter most days.
A refreshing change from the mechanical service and pre-packed sandwiches on offer in the Costa and Nero chain cafes nearby.
Clearly benefits from being on the Olympic and other big race cycle routes.
I suspect it's success will be replicated elsewhere.
Give it a try, you will be pleasantly surprised.

“A great little independently-owned cafe, in attractive Esher! ”
Reviewed 9 August 2014 via mobile

I first heard of this cute little treasure of a coffee shop and eatery, through two YouTube vloggers, based in Surrey, Louis Cole (Fun for Louis) and Ben Brown. They love this venue.

So, one recent Sunday afternoon, we decided to drive to Esher, to join-in on the coffee experience.

As soon as we arrived, I thought this a refreshingly different place to visit. There were various flash road-cycles parked outside, and the enthusiasm for cycling was apparent immediately. This could be said to be a cool paradise for cycling enthusiasts, who like a touch of class added into the mix. The decor is modern but comfortable. The staff were efficient and definitely very good at making a decent cup of coffee. There is plenty of food to choose from, if you have an appetite during your visit.

The seating is decent enough to make you feel like you are welcome to stay for while (there is no rushed feel about Giro), and from my recollection, they have wifi, which can readily be used, as well.

Their upper-level has a more secluded seating area, which is surrounded by some very impressive cycling kit / clothing, which you can actually purchase from them.

There is a well-known chain coffee shop, more or less opposite Giro, but I would definitely prefer to drink coffee and relax in Giro, than even that other venue, just because of the unique experience Giro offers!

A great little independently-owned cafe, in a very attractive Surrey town!

“Good coffee”
Reviewed 6 August 2014 via mobile

Good coffee but the choice was limited. I prefer a less sour bean! Have more variety or change the bean and I'll be a regular!

“superb cafe”
Reviewed 29 July 2014

The coffee is amazing, free water on the tables, somewhere to lock your bike and a loan lock, Jordan is a great host, excellent led cafe rides, very tasty almond croissants, good seating and a very warm welcome even when you've been riding in the rain and are soaking wet and covered in mud.
Thank You

“Warm, comfy and friendly”
Reviewed 10 July 2014 via mobile

Well I was treated to this by a good friend who is a damned good cyclist.. And knows his coffee

I was met with a place I could only describe as a cyclists paradise. It had a comfortable setting for a casual relaxing coffee with the feel of a classy coffee shop.

It's decor is spot on and truly is an amazing place.

Now for the coffee which was great smooth and a banana flap jack heaven.

The staff where friendly and I could not find a single fault. However I was informed that on weekends it gets a tad crowded

Simply amazing
