Description: Crowning the coralline point where Barnes Bay and Meads Bay meet, the Sunset Lounge turns a dusky evening into an unforgettable event. With an adults-only infinity pool that overlooks the setting sun and a DJ mixing tranquil European and reggae-tinged sounds, it's the ideal island lounge setting for cocktails before dinner or a nightcap. Adding to the Sunset Lounge vibe: a collection of aged rums, Cuban cigars and fine champagnes at our bar, and a selection of gourmet small plates for light dining that changes by the day and the season. Our resort’s luxurious Caribbean lounge setting is perfectly crafted for relaxed mingling and intimate nights out.

“See and be seen!”
Reviewed 27 November 2013

We stopped by the Sunset Lounge to catch the sunset and have a cocktail before heading to dinner elsewhere. We were not guests of the resort, but I wanted to check out the decor at the Viceroy. It is very chic and the views are great. When we arrived, the crowd was a mix of people walking in from the beach or pool in their swim gear and people in nice resort wear. The drink menu was creative and we were given a complementary tray of edamame and tortilla chips with a fresh salsa. The salsa almost tasted smokey, as if the tomatoes had been grilled. Very tasty and a nice touch. Drinks were good, but $15 each. I had a Ginger Collins and my hubbie had a Manhattan made with rum, which they had a clever name for. Both were delicious.

“Gorgeous”
Reviewed 24 November 2013

The Painkiller cocktail will make all your pains go away! Stopped by the open-air lounge for some drinks after a beach day. Beautifully decorated with cozy seating areas. Amazing views. A bit pricey, but you're at the Viceroy after all.

“Great night spot”
Reviewed 6 October 2013

At night the lounge turns down the lights and turns up the music. They cater to everyone and also showcase the reggae, soca and calypso that is famous in the islands. During the day it's a great space to have a seat and take in the beauty.
