Description: The Chateau Mygo restaurant is a 3rd generation west indian restaurant. We are opened for breakfast lunch and dinner. Inside we have two bars inside the restaurant one which services those dining in the restaurant and the Hurricane Hole bar which caters to one who is just in need of a drink. We serve an array of different dishes and add our local touch to it. Chateau Mygo is a sea side restaurant which has a great view of Marigot Bay and all the yachts coming or leaving the bay. Every week we offer a number of different events to satisfy our customers which include Reggae and band night two days a week ( or more depending on the time of year.), happy hour everyday at 5-6 pm and much more. Our friendly staff create a vibrant caribbean atmosphere and are always at your service.

the place looks good enough but we got the impression the owner is just a copycat of more successful restaurants.Pizza? are you sure? what we got was just a bread with some cheese on top.just stick to your seafood dishes and actually try to improve them!

We arrived just as they opened for lunch on New Years Day, probably not the best time to get anything resembling timely service, whilst our waitress was great it did take 90 minutes to get our meal.
We went with the idea of the special deal on lobster and indeed got 3 tails each, which for $19 USD each (£12) was great value, but we believe they were frozen (would have been happy to pay more for fresh lobster), which might explain some of the time delay, as in parts it had that texture that frozen meat/fish can get, like a broken down fibre/mealy in places, but we couldn't complain for the price. It was cooked well with a nice sauce (see photo). Vegetables plain and rice with herbs nice.
Approx, $32 USD for a drinkable bottle of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc.
We will go back again to try a local dish or two before we leave.

This little restaurant is the perfect spot for breakfast, lunch or dinner with the best views of the bay. The prices are great and lunch dishes like their chicken curry and roti are delicious and believe it or not they make one of the best pizzas in the evening when the pizza man arrives. Everyone had a bite and absolutely loved it. The staff is wonderful but on island time... so just sit back and enjoy the views sipping on a Piton.

The food was great, the drinks were great with lots of rum, the company was great, and we could step right of the stern of our boat onto the dock, piece of cake.

We went here on our first night in Marigot Bay.

The food was excellent and authentic. Amongst the best in the area.

It is located in a nice little spot near the harbour- perhaps not as a breathtaking as some of its rivals such as the Rainforest Hideaway of Hurricane Hole but still nice.

Staff were all pleasant. Our only issue was that service was perhaps too quick, the meal seemed all over very quickly and for the amount you pay, it would have been nicer to have taken our time a bit more.

In general, this is a good place and definitely worth a visit if you are spending a week in the Bay.
