Description: The Chateau Mygo restaurant is a 3rd generation west indian restaurant. We are opened for breakfast lunch and dinner. Inside we have two bars inside the restaurant one which services those dining in the restaurant and the Hurricane Hole bar which caters to one who is just in need of a drink. We serve an array of different dishes and add our local touch to it. Chateau Mygo is a sea side restaurant which has a great view of Marigot Bay and all the yachts coming or leaving the bay. Every week we offer a number of different events to satisfy our customers which include Reggae and band night two days a week ( or more depending on the time of year.), happy hour everyday at 5-6 pm and much more. Our friendly staff create a vibrant caribbean atmosphere and are always at your service.

We visited Chateau Mygo on March 16, 2014. We had just arrived in Marigot Bay and had the restaurant recommended by our hosts. The restaurant is located on the picturesque harbour in Marigot Bay. If you get there early enough, you can enjoy the sunset and the sailboats entering the harbour. Our hosts recommended the fish and chips. As the the title indicated, the portions were ample especially the fish but I was disappointed by the McCain crinkle cut french fries that seemed to be done in the oven. The service was adequate but coffee was slow. We were a little surprise by the price but have since learned that eating out in St. Lucia can be an expensive proposition.

We stopped here for lunch on our first day in Marigot Bay.

We chose the Mahi Mahi in garlic sauce and the chicken roti both of which were really flavoursome and delicious. We also tried the painkiller cocktails which were good but completely different from the ones you get in the BVI's.

The service was good but not overwhelming and there seemed something lacking in the general atmosphere but it was quite quiet in the restaurant at the time.

Overall a good experience.

This one was rougher than most. The drinks were not very good. Not the fruity rum concoctions that you're expecting. The food bland and so was the waitress. So many people in St. Lucia are physically beautiful but need some attitude adjustment. When you do meet some friendly, happy people, they stand out soooo much. It wasn't here.

We ate here twice and the food was great both nights. The setting on the bay is very peaceful and relaxing.
The Mahi-mahi is fabulous
