Description: The Chateau Mygo restaurant is a 3rd generation west indian restaurant. We are opened for breakfast lunch and dinner. Inside we have two bars inside the restaurant one which services those dining in the restaurant and the Hurricane Hole bar which caters to one who is just in need of a drink. We serve an array of different dishes and add our local touch to it. Chateau Mygo is a sea side restaurant which has a great view of Marigot Bay and all the yachts coming or leaving the bay. Every week we offer a number of different events to satisfy our customers which include Reggae and band night two days a week ( or more depending on the time of year.), happy hour everyday at 5-6 pm and much more. Our friendly staff create a vibrant caribbean atmosphere and are always at your service.

Our family enjoyed this cheerful harborside restaurant four times during our stay, including a wonderful farewell breakfast after packing up to fly home. Day or night the views are terrific as you watch boats and people come and go— and the food is well prepared and served by friendly staff who always invited us to return.

Tuesday is usually Barbecue Night with live music too. Though seafood is a specialty— and is always fresh and tasty, the menu has a wide variety of choices and meals feature lots of local fare. Prices are fair and breakfast is really a great bargain with lots of filling and tasty options.

Can be crowded some nights but even if you don’t have reservation, they’ll do their best to accomdate!

You can enjoy a short Happy Hour at your table or you can enjoy the Hurricane Hole bar that is just outside the dining area for an extended “all night long” time. Drinks are many and well made!

Lots of families but nice for adults too. Chateau Mygo does not disappoint. If service is slow, just say something and you’ll get help. Otherwise chill and enjoy.

We had lunch, dinner and breakfast here - breakfast was a bit of a disaster, but they made it right and I'm pretty sure it was the exception to the rule, because every other time we went, the food was good and the service friendly and forthcoming. Having said that - be prepared that the service is not fast wherever you go - you're on island time in St. Lucia! :)

Chateau Mygo was definitely the place to be in the evenings - always the most hopping and happening restaurant in the area.

My goodness if you love seafood then this is the place to go. Close to the resort and beach. Good cocktails too.

This was our favourite place to eat in Marigot Bay, and we ate breakfast here most mornings. Their Banana Pancakes with fresh fruit and maple syrup, are to die for! Thick and fluffy, and sooo tasty!

We also ate dinner here a couple of times, and the coconut chicken curry with rice and peas, although quite rustic, is absolutely yummy! It's not a posh place, and has a very relaxed vibe, but the food is good and the waiting staff were a really lovely team.

We found that it was quite good value, compared to the rest of Marigot Bay (everywhere is expensive!), and we really enjoyed eating here. I definitely recommend this for anyone staying in the bay!

We were staying in Marigot Bay and popped down to Chateau Mygo for happy hour drinks (from 5-7pm) and then on to diner.

We ordered strawberry daiquiris and these were ok but nothing special. They were very sweet with the strawberry syrup.

For dinner I had the fresh Mahi-mahi which came with a side of rice, vegetables and a passion fruit rum sauce. The dish was fine and the fish was tasty, but at 80EC it seemed expensive for what it was (though this did seem to be the going rate for fresh fish in Marigot Bay). The menu was quite large and had a lot to choose from including pizzas.

Overall this was a pleasant enough dinner, but nothing terribly amazing.

Thank Brad H
